My love of research and genealogy since 1981, and my dedication to the cemeteries that I have been visiting for people to find where their loved ones are buried, is truly enjoying. We enjoy the peace in these old cemeteries. My husband and I love finding and taking pictures of the old headstones and wonder what history they must contain. If you come across one of your loved ones which I have added, and there is an error, please feel free to let me know. I will be happy to transfer memorials over of your immediate family members, unless it is a family relative.
Please note & take into consideration that I am not related to a lot of whom I have added. I add them to Find A Grave so family members can also find where their ancestors have been put to rest. Sincerely, Laura

 | RE: Flipper cemetery I am not from the area. I belie ve they are two separate cemeteries. They were separated by a couple of city blocks but I have received an email from someone telling me they were the same. The Flipper sign hung at the entrance so I think it is the Flipper cemetery but maybe it was the African-American section of Old City Cemetery. I am sorry I don't know. carolAdded by Carol on Apr 22, 2013 8:43 PM | | | Carol

 | Old City Cemetery, Thomasville, GA Laura it appears you have created several duplicates with the Old City Cemetery. Those burials are already listed in the Flipper Cemetery and have been since 2011.
Please be careful to do a search prior to adding a memorial. I know how frustrating this can be and can assure you, we have all done this sort of thing..
Thanks a million
