My Indiana roots run deep with many of my ancestors arriving here before Indiana became a state in 1816. |
All my life I have been fascinated with cemeteries. Find-a-grave is a way to enjoy both interests.
I am working on documenting and correcting entries in the Monon,Indiana area cemeteries. Most of the memorials are not for my relatives. However, Monon is my hometown and I know many of the people or their descendant's. I hope my research will bring joy to others as they look to the lives that these memorials represent.

Hi Lorie - I took notice that you have completed some photos and entries for Find A Grave for the Roseland Cemetery. I am a native "Hoosier", but live in York, PA. There are a number of Fitzpatrick members buried there and I am wondering if you might have noticed a memorial for Mary (Fleck)Fitzpatrick - DOB - 1890 - DOD - between 1923-1929, and a Girthie Fitzpatrick DOB 1886 - DOD approximately 1949-1955.
They are my sister-in-law's grand parents. Sad that Mary died with their being 5 children that we adopted out to other families or sent with relatives. I noticed you set a memorial for Mary Frances Fitzpatrick Erb. Mary Frances was one of the girls and went to live with her maternal grandmother. I posted a picture for her. Would you mind if I use your photo of headstone for my Ancestry site?.....Thanks so much, Pat

|Roger Spurgeon||Robert B. Spurgeon b.1863|
Found a memorial on him, Names his wife as Eva. Both are buried in Colorado, Springs. May be the son of Uncle Harvey. I have his memorial saved in my vert. Spurgeon cemetery. I don't have enough info to link him to Harvey's memorial, thought you may have. Roger
Thanks for noticing the duplicates. I deleted them.

Thank you for the additions to Jerry's memorial, I do appreciate it. He is my cousin. He shares a tombstone with his mother...so if you posted her stone, could you also put it on Jerry's memorial? I can't find his deathdate...and can't ask his brothers,as they haven't spoken in many yrs. will keep searching... Judy
