Bio and Links
Bio Photo My Indiana roots run deep with many of my ancestors arriving here before Indiana became a state in 1816.

All my life I have been fascinated with cemeteries. Find-a-grave is a way to enjoy both interests.

I am working on documenting and correcting entries in the Monon,Indiana area cemeteries. Most of the memorials are not for my relatives. However, Monon is my hometown and I know many of the people or their descendant's. I hope my research will bring joy to others as they look to the lives that these memorials represent.

Please, feel free to copy and share any of the photos that I add to find-a-grave. Helping others find their roots is part of the joy of being a volunteer!

RE: Jessie L Peregrine Miller
A descendant of hers, James A. Miller, made a genealogy book called "The Family of Letha May Blackburn", that lists Jessie and other relatives of his. The source of information came from several places, such as the Clinton County Recorder's Office, the State Library in Indianapolis, Indiana and the Washington DC National Archives. Jessie Miller's full name is listed in said book.

The dates of birth and death are correct, but looking at several sources, it gives the year of birth and death as 1929, as oppose to the year 1927 on his headstone. I was going back over his family genealogy when I discovered this, after I sent in the edits. His parents are indeed Benjamin and Mae Denton, just the years are off by two. He had a sister, Jean, born on May 30, 1927 (she died in 2009), but I don't see how they could have been born three months apart. It's very confusing to me but the years are the only thing that is slightly off. Just thought I'd verify this with you.

Lorie, Just wanted to say that Isabell Fox is not Pheriba
Burns's child. She belongs to Phillip Benjamin by another wife. It gets complicated!

I found a BIRLS Death information on him. Instead of creating a page for unknown burial, I added his information to Johann's page. Cannot find Agnes's information.
