Born in 1938, I retired in 2001 after 24 years with Cummins Inc., most recently managing industrial exhibits around the country. Before that I taught high school journalism for 17 years.

I've lived in Indiana all my life and have been actively working on 12 lines of my family tree since 1959. Those lines are Rude (my father put the "h" in the name), Briner, Lambert, Perry, Magill, Campbell, Collins, Bess, Winkler, Story, Hawn, and Ames/Emms.
