Attribution to the photographer and/or Find A Grave is REQUIRED. I say this because I provide these pictures to you free and I want them to remain free. Some sites will steal these photos or charge people for them. I fight to keep that from happening and may issue take-down notices to any site that I find with my photos not attributed to me or Find-A-Grave, including Ancestry.com. I spend my time and money to help you find your family, I'm not interested in other people making money off me helping you.|
Most of my photos are geotagged. Remember, GPS isn't exact, but it sure can be helpful to locate a stone.
If I've been helpful in your search, I'd love to hear about it. Drop me a line and let me know who you found.
If you have connections to Decatur county, IN, please consider submitting something to the Decatur County INGen Web. It's another free site (that I pay to provide) that depends on user contributions.
Corrections: Even though FindAGrave is a grave registration site, not a genealogy site, I love to add information, fix errors and make family links, so please feel free to send them to me via the Suggest A Correction button.
Feel free to add your photos to all memorials. Your name and link to your profile will appear with the photo.
Transfers: If I have prepared a memorial for your family member and you would like it transferred to you, please use the Suggest a Correction Link located in the upper right hand corner of each memorial. In your message, please state your relationship to the deceased. I use the FindAGrave transfer guidelines as a starting point for transfers, but often grant transfers outside of those guidelines. Telling me you are "related" and "you have information to add" probably won't get a transfer. You'll have the greatest chance of getting an 'out of guidelines transfer' if you tell me something interesting about the person or your family's connection to southern Indiana.

|Gail Schinnerer Jorgensen||William Antor Sackman Photo permission|
You obtained a photo for my memorial for William last year. It is - Find A Grave Memorial# 113514049. I just discovered today that mine is a duplicate and want to delete the memorial. The problem is that the original memorial - Find A Grave Memorial# 59850032 doesn't have a memorial photo. Can I either ask you to transfer that photo to the original memorial or you would prefer, I can do it and credit you. let me know

Traci, may I receive your permission to add some of your headstone photos of my relatives from the Little Sand Creek Cemetery to my FTM/Ancestry.com tree. I definitely will add the proper credits to them. Thanks for your time and effort.

The picture you placed for Margaret Geary Lacy is not of her monument. It is of George's parents.

I wondered if you had any further Twaddle family info. I noticed your nice memorial for Hiram. I wondered if Hiram might be a son of James and Anna (Risley) Twaddell, who came from Gennesee Co. NY in 1817 and had at least one son, I know of, John born 1819 Jennings Co. IN. He would be 10 years younger than Hiram, so possibly several Twaddle/Twaddell families moved from NY.
Trying to solve some Twaddell puzzles. John born 1819 (memorial # 28842563) married Elizabeth Barnes in Jennings Co. IN and they came west to Oregon. His father James Twaddle-memorial # 20205930 and wife Ann #20205924, bur in Day Cemetery.
Would love to share info - are you Twaddle family, by any chance?
