If your heart feels heavy,
It may be weighted down,
With the many precious gems
You fail to pass around.
Diamonds are the loving words
You always leave unsaid.
Rubies are the seeds of joy
That you refuse to spread.
Emerald are the helping hands
Only offered grudgingly.
Sapphires are alms not given
To ease a fellowman's need.
Changing won't be easy
And it may even smart.
When you begin to mine those gems
Embedded in your heart.
It will take a lot of practice
Each and every day,
Learning that neglected art
Of giving yourself away.
First there'll be a secret fear
You may be refused,
Or sometimes deep resentments
That you are being used.
But as you sow your precious gems
Along life's many miles,
You'll notice how they sparkle
In people's happy smiles.
And your heart that was so heavy
Will grow to twice its size,
But be as light as a bird in flight
As it soars up to the skies.

"Transfers: I am not one of
those people who refuse to
transfer in or out of guidelines.
State up front how and why you
feel you should be the manager
of the memorial. I will use
my discretion, but as a general
Ask and ye shall receive, unless
you're 1 of those people who don't
transfer out of guidelines".
(I borrowed this from T.V.F.T.H)
If you are one of those people
the above poem is for you,
please read it and take it to
heart. I also don't like
veiled threats. So please don't
do that. It is so ugly.
For transfer request, please go
to edit. It will make it
easier for both of us.
If you have sent a correction
addition etc. please be patient,
and give me thirty days, to take
care of your request.
I am going to remove my e-mail
address, as I continue to receive
thru there, rather than thru edit
as I have requested above. Please
be sure to include the memorial
number as it is time consuming to
for members to have to look it up,
when you could just as easily send it.
Please do not post a death certificate
or an obituary in the photo section
on any of the memorials I manage.
The obituary should be typed and
submitted to be entered in the bio.
We want the memorials of those we
loved to be as nice as possible.

Hi Janet, since you maintain John's grave post, I am wondering if you have a genealogy or other information on him and his family? I am looking for the parents of Katherine/Kate Shuey who married Charles Leverich at Cass Co., MO in 1877. She was born in Wisconsin in 1849. They had a son John Winter Leverich. They lived in Montana where they all died. Kindly let me know if you have anything that you will share. Thanks! John

I have sent you a correction asking you to consider adding his obituary to the memorial. I have sent the typed obituary in the correction. Thank you.

I went to the cemetery today and did some photos. I have added photos of some headstones that you did not specifically ask for. If you would like a list let me know. Otherwise I am sure you will find them. Thanks. Nancy

If you are still work for Find A Grave, I have an obituary for the above that I can send you. He was my father-in-law and there is some wrong information on the web site. His name was Dave & not David. He was never a David although the census takers listed him as such. I have been working on the Jantz genealogy when I came across this website. I would appreciate hearing from you & letting me know who to send a copy of the obituary. Ellen Jantz

I took a pic of Sophie Bagley's marker but did not notice you wanted other Bagley family members too. I will try to get back out that way soon and retake them. take care, Marty

With all the research you added to Medora's memorial, I wonder if you are a relative? Her son Harry Oliver was my favorite uncle on my mother's side.
|Dawn Barrett||Larkins in Mexico Village Cemetery|
Hi Janet, I am writing again about the Larkin people that you have done memorials for. I have traced back the family and have info to update them. I would be willing to send it to you or if you would like transfer management to me on the following people:
1) Samuel Larkin (previous letter) # 124562201
2) Judith Hoxie Larkin # 124559443
3) Mary (infant daughter) Larkin # 124559494
4) Myrtle "Mertie" Chadwick Larkin # 124562296
I am related to them as Samuel is the son of my great-grandfather Green Larkin's son. Judith was the first wife of great-great-grandfather Samuel Crandall Larkin (Green's father). Mary (baby) was the daughter of Samuel and Judith. "Mertie" is also Green's daughter and her real name according to my records was Myrta Ruth and she married Coleman "Coley" Chadwick.
Thanks for doing the memorials for my family and I hope to hear from you soon. Take care and have a good night.
|Dawn Barrett||Larkin Family|
Hi Janet, My name is Dawn Barrett and I am related to this family. Greene Larkin was my great-grandfather. I have traced the family tree back and have information on people listed in the memorial you did of Samuel Larkin. It states that it is "a work in progress." As I said if you would like the info please let me know. I am also a Find-A-Grave member so you can contact me on there or at my email address which is firstname.lastname@example.org. Thanks and have a good day.
