I really enjoy digging for my family's roots and I also enjoy helping others connect with their family roots.

Whenever I take photos, I try to upload them to USGenweb Archives tombstone Project as well as FindAGrave.

If I end up adding a memorial for a member of your family, PLEASE do not hesitate to ask me to transfer it to you. This site is most valuable when every memorial is lovingly tended and updated by family members.

I would be remiss in not mentioning that most of the cemeteries here in Alameda County, CA are huge and I am not able to walk the whole cemetery to find your folks. Several of the cemeteries also have policies of not providing location information to volunteers. For these reasons, I recommend that you contact the cemetery ahead of time for a location and add that information to your memorial. Where possible, I will contact the office for location information, but I confess that requests containing location information make it to the top of my list.

Robert Sweigart Kinch
Robert Sweigart Kinch is son of Harvey and Grace Sweigart Kinch, but I don't know where they are buried. Also, he is a brother to Ralph Kinch, mem# 102754762. Can this info be added to his memorial, 39158892?

There are 2 memorials for same person, #36539336 buried in MS and #39158892 buried in TN. My guess the one buried in Nashville National Cemetery is correct since it has grave marker photo. Please have the incorrect one removed.

RE: Re the death of Inez DeAtley Clark
Many thanks. Lots of errors, but all too typical for journalism at any level. I have made the changes and appreciate the corrections.

Meta Johanna Best
My great aunt was Meta Johanna Best. I have a fairly complete history of her family. She was a Steinkamp. Her mother's maiden name was Meta Johanna Haslebusch and her father's name was John Peter Steinkamp. They immigrated to Butte County in 1852. I have John Peter Steinkamp on FindAGrave. Can I take over the memorial or is it necessary? When I was in high school in San Francisco in the 1950's I was asked on several occasions if I was related to the Best's in San Leandro. My Best line immigrated from England in 1909 and moved to San Francisco in 1917. My only connection to these Best's is through Met Johanna.

RE: Photos for William & Mary Moore at Bethel
Glad to help. Bethel is just down the road a short distance so no trouble.

RE: Re Edna C. Duttera LeFevre
Hi, thank you for being so nice about all this, I make mistakes too, and you are right there were alot of Emma Duttera's, thats why the middle initial was so important. You are doing a great job with all you are doing on Find a Grave, and I appreciate your kind and thoughtful responses.

RE: Re Edna C. Duttera LeFevre
Hi, you are right on Edna's parents. Too many people named Emma, had to check middle initials.
Thank You.
