Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been researching my Gamblin family history for over 30 years. We stretch from Alberta, Canada to Missouri, Kentucky, the Carolinas and Virginia with branches into most of the other states. I am adding family members from both Canada and in the United States to Find A Grave in hopes others may benefit. I also hope to add those whom are buried in our local cemeteries.

RE: William Gamblin 31824225
I thank you for the information I may have to go into my tree and edit. Some people think that James and William are the same so I have to check this out but I must be on the correct track same family! Aunt Lora will be happy! Many blessings.

Dear Ms. Gamblin:

I am the great granddaughter of Sarah Gamblin she was born to Zachariah (Thomas Gamblin 88995919 and Elizabeth Nelson 89012718. Zachariah went by Issac and Zach he is the son of William Marion. His death Certificate is on under the 1910 to 1964 data base. If you think that Zachariah is the son of your William can you please add him to his children. Aunt Lora granddaughter to Sarah Gamblin Canady and 99 so if this is correct may I print a picture you have with the quilt of my Aunt's g g grandfather? She has been helping me. Sarah married in 1890 Abraham Canady in Dent County marriage. The Canadn name has changed various times. For example Aunt Lora was named after her grandfathers daughter Laura Canedy on I have picutures of Sarah Gamblin and most likely more Gamblin's but some are not marked. Ed's son married his second wife's sister Emma Henson Kanaday she died and Sarah Gamblin help raised her Sarah's obit is on Mrs. Sarah Kanaday. Many Blessings Lea

RE: Joshua Gamblin
I believe I got the information from another Gamblin researcher. Joshua was my partner's maternal direct ancestor, eight generations ago.

Trying again to get famous designation
I've revised my bio of Airey Neave on, still hoping to satisfy the unwritten rules, and once again submitted an application for their "famous" designation. Most grateful if you're able to take a look and cast a vote! Maybe this time he'll make it.

Irene Gamblin, Daughter of Sherwood Gamblin
I've been searching for Irene on and am having trouble finding her. Did she move out of Kentucky? Do you know where I could find Marriage records, Death records, etc?

Thank you!
