Joseph Luft - 84386487 - Photo
May I have your permission to download the gravestone photo of Joseph Luft? I would like to use on my family tree on Ancestry -- with photo credit to you, of course. Thank you for your consideration. ~Barb

It was a bit hot today but I thankfully had no problem hiking up the trail to their graves. My friend who went with me kept dragging behind, however, and I ask her if she needed me to PUSH her UP the trail. For me, it was most certainly a labor of love and visiting their graves again meant the world to me. I loved what had been left on their headstone by other visitors. Turkey feathers (there are a lot of wild turkeys out there), pine cones and pretty stones. We scouted around and found two small pretty stones to add to their decorations.

I and a good friend of mine went out to Hope today and I took photos of their headstones. As you can see from the photo on their Find-A-Grave entries, visitors to their grave have left what they could find to decorate their headstone. Wild turkeys are abundant out there as are pine cones and stones. :) Meridee D Dunn

RE: Samuel Davis Owen and Nina
I live in Sagle. At one time I did take headstone photos on a voluntary basis by request for those buried in our county but I'm not up to doing so these days. As far as the Find-A-Grave entries of those buried in Lakeview Cemetery and in Pinecrest and other cemeteries many of those entries were made from earlier written grave transcriptions of those buried in cemeteries here and no photos weren't ever taken of their headstones.

In seeing there was no photo of their graves on their entries, I planned on going out to Hope to take them. I know exactly where their graves are located and they are a ways from where the trail ends. My email address is listed on my profile. If you contact me, maybe we can visit their graves together. I live in the area.

Hi! Your beautiful memorial for Viva Tolman Pollock (my great aunt in law) is duplicated by this memorial #133267764. Are you willing to combine them? Thanks! Tammi Leigh (Pollock) Johnson
