Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am interested in geneaology, and am researching my family. I know the value of having this resource for my family members, and would like to help others by providing photos.

If anyone needs photos of gravesites or gravestones in Contra Costa County, California, let me know.

I am researching Romisher, Rutter, Duncan, Dunn, Michalek, Holy, and McCracken family names - most from western Pennsylvania.

RE: Alexander Tweedy
Yes, I did get it. Perhaps they crossed in space??

I just moved to this area and am getting to know the local
cemeteries. I found a grave marker that may be the one you requested.

was a large marker with the Jackson name in front, which I know you mentioned,
actually, there were two family markers with the name Jackson. One behind the
other. Behind the second Jackson marker was a marker with the name Margaret J
Tweedy (name only -no dates). Next to that "Mother" 1817 - 1903, "Father"
1812 - 1889, and "Alexander" 1844 -1916.

The location of the Alexander
marker would suggest to me he is a Jackson and not a Tweedy. But since the
dates are correct, is this the marker you are looking for? Since Margaret
Tweedy is there, maybe he is a Tweedy too?

Let me know if you would like me
to add the photo for Alexander.

So very kind of you to write. I have these families on my laptop and unable to work on the laptop for a few days. I would say go ahead and add Alexander if you like and I can get back to you after, I check and perhaps do more research.

Your kind deed so very much appreciated.

Thanks for the photo! Can you add it to her husband George's memorial too, or can I? I really appreciate the volunteer photo.
