I am slowly working on photographing Ascension Cemetery because it is closest to my home. I am not related to most of those buried there. I consider it my contribution to the find-a-grave website as a return favor for those who have photographed entire cemeteries far away, greatly helping my own personal family research.|
I've been side-tracked lately with photographing Loma Vista in Fullerton. Done with photographing the Northeast, Cypress and East Lawns in the older part of the cemetery. Currently working on Grandview Lawn. Mostly what I consider "mass production" by sweeping the stones, taking a picture and posting memorials just to get the names out there.

Thank you so much for transferring the subject memorial. This kindness on your part will permit me to manage the memorials for my uncle, Swafford Clifton Garrett, and his wife, Mildred Ellen Coffin Garrett. May God bless your future efforts to photograph grave markers and create additional memorials.

I have deleted the Find A Grave memorial that I created for the subject person as you requested even though it was created after mine. I have done this because you Find A Grave memorial contains more pertinent information than mine and because you were kind enough to photograph the grave marker for my uncle, Swafford Clifton Garrett, and add it to his Find A Grave memorial. Also you volunteered the information regarding the correct location of the burial of my uncle and his deceased wife, Mildred Wheeler Garrett, which will permit me to correct my memorial for Swafford Clifon Garrett. Even though I was present for his burial I did not take the time to record the location. In recent years as I begun to do ancestry work I have tried to locate the location but listed a cemetery I thought was correct. Thanks for your find work with this memorial.

Thank you for your note. I appreciate it. I had meant to send a note to you also. There was a memorial for Rachel already made. Her name was spelled wrong. The wrong spelling: Rachael Galloway. I have already sent an edit request for it to be corrected.. It should be corrected within a couple of days.

Thank you so much for finding the obituary for Arnel Higgins, and adding it to his memorial. Most of his siblings lived in Arkansas, so it's nice to have the connections shown.
Lesa, you will never believe this! We have been cleaning our garage and working on putting more support in it for the roof. Anyway, there was a stone up that looked like it was supporting a joint. Hard to explain, but it was up on top of the garage wall. We could just see the side of it. Well, today when we were out at a cemetery my husband said, you know, those concrete markers look like the one up in our garage. We have got to go home and pull that down. We did, and it says Thomas E. Gass. We check it against Find A Grave and it is Thomas Enoch Gass at Doty Chapel. The people that lived here are buried there. The marker is brand new.

Sorry . . . I have no clue where she is buried or if she even has a Find A Grave memorial.

You do not have a wife listed for James McClanahan on his memorial page. His Find A Grave is #8992148. I'm trying to connect him to a Matilda Belle Boyle.
|Robin ||Ethel and Elene Stockton|
I wanted to let you know there isn't a grave stone for Ethel or Elene. Click on the picture to see internment dates and lot locations.

I understand what you are saying. And you are welcome for the photo.

Per Lindenwood Cemetery, Ms. Stockton is buried there in Section M, Lot 426 but she does not have a stone.
