Bio and Links
Bio Photo I was born in the city of Chula Vista, San Diego County, California, and reside here today. I am of Italian and French-Canadian descent. My parents were born and raised in Rochester, New York, and moved to San Diego in 1954.

Both of my paternal grandparents were Italian, born in Villavallelonga, a commune in the province of L'Aquila, Italy. They immigrated to the U.S. during the early 1900s, settling in Rochester, New York.

My maternal grandmother was French-Canadian, a direct descendant of French immigrants who settled in Quebec, Canada, during the 1700s. The process of unraveling my maternal grandfather’s heritage has been challenging; more work to be done.

I'm a nature enthusiast, enjoy the outdoors, traveling, and visiting historical places. Genealogy is a keen interest of mine. I enjoy learning about past generations and their ways of life.

I began photographing headstones and creating memorials for F-A-G a few years ago. My intent is to always input accurate information for each memorial, however, occasional mishaps do happen. If you notice a duplicate memorial or any other correction I need to fix, I would appreciate a reminder from you of the change to be made.

I will gladly transfer management of a memorial per your request, and you have permission to copy any of my F-A-G photos for your own personal use.

It's a pleasure to chat with F-A-G members as we network together. Please feel free to contact me any time.

RE: Frances Gallipeau
After a couple of trips, I've confirmed that there isn't a headstone. I created a memorial for Frances anyway with a photo and caption which explains the location.

It is sad that there was so much tragedy in this family! If you need any more help with any other family members, you know where to find me!

Hi- his brother Paul is buried at Normandy... I linked hi to father Emmett and finally found his mother, she is in Rock Creek MS, buried with her first husband and with whom she had her eldest children, Thomley. I haven't yet gotten in touch with any of the children but working on it. I sure appreciate your very kind offer of further assistance! Many blessings!

Well, I'll look for it anyway. Didn't mean to blow off your tragic family story. Was a bit time-limited when I wrote. Just today uploaded photos for parents who lost 4 of the their children well before they died. Just can't imagine the loss! Also can't imagine all of the loss your family encountered! It must have been quite difficult for them!

As I said before, I will look. Such a tragic story but thanks for sharing. Hopefully, I will find something concrete.

Eliza-

You be sure to let me know if you do and I will look for them. Even if you don't want to post a photo request, let me know. I'm not in this to rack up the numbers! Just looking to help when I can.

I joke with my best friend about "Who Do you Think You Are". I have a man in my tree who was well respected and liked who hung himself - no apparent mental illness. Tell her all the time if I were a celeb, They would be able to help me know within one episode what caused him to do that and leave his wife and 8 children to grieve. No, it's not funny but I'm sure if I were on that show, I would get an explanation. Oh, well!

In any case, even though I haven't been doing this for quite a year, I have gotten to know the layout of Holy Sepulchre quite well so if you have any more requests, don't hesitate to let me know.

Well, we already knew who was buried there. I just called the North Chapel Funeral Home and they said "There is no cemetery listed." I asked if that meant he was cremated? and the answer was, "We cannot give out that information. I can only say there is no cemetery listed." Next step is to call St. Marks church where the funeral was held but this is getting on touchy personal grounds here... his family may very well have his ashes. Should I have the gall to continue?
