Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been interested in genealogy since 2004. I am retired and live in Gambrills, Maryland. My main genealogy interests are in Western Maryland and S. Central Pennsylvania. My wife is also involved in her genealogy in Eastern Ohio and Western Pennsylvania. We visit cemeteries to find our ancestors' stones and markers. I enjoy photographing the monuments.

Main families of interest are Minnich (Minich), Keefauver, Lemen, Harsh and Stone, Craig, Lydic, and Buterbaugh. Others are Johnston, Swonger, Lloyd, and Miner.

If I have made a duplicate, please contact me and it will be deleted quickly. Also, since only five free photo spots per person are allowed in findagrave, please do not add unnecessary photos to my memorials. Obituaries should be typed in the Bio sect and not added as photos. Transfers may be made if you ask using the EDIT button and also state relationship. You have my permission to use my grave photos for your private use. Hopefully, you will source or link the photos. It is stealing to copy a photo and claim it as your own. It never hurts to give someone credit for helping you.

I have been purchasing "orphan-rescue" antique photos with names sufficient to search and find a 'home' for them. Some success has been had. There are photo albums of Hellyers and Hopkins that are awaiting family.

Findagrave is as good as we make it.

Ropp family
Thanks for the hat tip, Mike. My mother was Gene's coursin. You have another link request for James Meredith Ropp, who was Gene's brother.

I remember them all very well from my childhood, and lots of great times. They were more like extra siblings to my Mom, than cousins.

Bernetta Rowley Entry
Thank you so much for taking a picture of Bernetta's tombstone, and for letting me know about it. I've updated her entry also.

I'd love to be able to get into some of those Maryland cemeteries in one of my favorite states---but I live in NC.

Margaret Cox #43003018
I would like to ask your permission to add your photo of Margaret Cox's grave to my tree. If you'd rather I didn't use it, that's fine. Either way, thanks for taking the photo.
