|I was born in Greenport, L. I., New York and grew up in Riverhead, N.Y. I lived 57 years in the Riverhead - Flanders area. I retired and moved to Dover, De. About a year ago I learned of Find-A-Grave. I think it is a great idea. I will help as much as I can to make this site useful to others. |
I have been doing my genealogy for over 20 years. I have traced my family history to Virginia. Mainly Powhatan, Cumberland, and Amelia Counties. The family names that I'm working on are Brunskill, Jackson, James, Cooper, Hatcher, and Watkins.
I'm interested in cemeteries on Eastern Long Island, N.Y., Virginia, and now Maryland and Delaware.
Now, anytime I travel I will visit cemeteries and record some tombstones. I'm not related to most of the entries I have made. I hope the information I provide is of help and value to others. If you are related to anyone I have listed, I will gladly transfer the page to you. If I have made any errors of facts on any of my postings, please let me know in order that I may correct it.
Should you email me, please put "Find a Grave" in the subject line.

|Maryalice Booker||Winston Brunskill|
My name is Maryalice Booker. Winston Brunskill was my grandmother's father (Mary Brunskill). I was on my Uncle Tracy's Facebook page and someone name Gregory Brunskill said that you were the family historian (he left the comment on a picture of my grandmother Mary Brunskill and her sister Kathryn Smith). I've started to reasearch my family using Ancestry.com and any information you could contribute would be greatly appreciated. I grew up in Virginia (surprisingly, Sunny Side) and I only met my grandmother Mary a few times. I've also met her sister Kathryn (Aunt Kat).
Your posts here have been provided so much information in my search. Thanks so much!!!!

Lot 69, Pine Oak Lane, Taylor Section, Grave A&B.
Thank you for your help. Richard V.
