Bio Photo Genealogy is my past time, I LOVE it. You don't know the feeling you get when you find a piece of your puzzle. Better yet when you can help someone else find one. Summers are great for getting your exercise walking the cemeteries finding a grave that has been not kept up and showing your love by cleaning it!

RE: Adams info
The downtown Brown County library has access to old newspapers but I usually like to check for the Death Record (then maybe Birth & Marriage) before heading to the library to look for an obit. Helps to narrow it down if I know the date of death, not just the year. And, like you say, John's Death Record might name his parents, especially if the informant was a close family member and KNOWS the correct data and not just guessing.

RE: Adams photo
If I get a couple free days, might be able to get to Register of Deeds office and look for John's Death Record. His DOB might be on it.

I always check when I make a memorial to see that there is not one already there in that cemetery under the correct surname spelling. Curious how it is that now it appears that the one I made is a "duplicate?" Any clues? Maybe something got changed after I created mine? Either the cemetery, or the spelling of the surname?

Judith BAKER
Just spoke with the BVM caretaker. There isn't a named-marker at the site of Judith's grave, yet. He said there is a large BAKER monument with about 8 spaces but to this point, no way of photographing a Memorial for Judith. Don't know if you want to remove the request for now or just leave it until someone places a Memorial marker for her. Not sure how we'll know when though.
