Bio Photo My name is Glenn and I am 70 years old and had open heart surgery 10 years ago. I don't mind taking photos of grave markers in the area. I have been working on my ancestry for the last 7 years and I love to find old records. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Good luck and if I can help, I will.
Kathy and I are volunteers of the Ozaukee County Historical Society and we are doing this work for them. If you have any questions about ancestry please contact the historical society at 262-377-4510. They are open every Tuesday from 9AM to 3 PM, the 2nd and 4th Monday night from 5 8P.M. and the 2nd Saturday of each month from 9 A.M. to 11 A.M.

Lately I have been getting many, many transfer requests without the needed information. If anyone requests a transfer, use the EDIT tab and the transfer request must contain the following information: Relationship; Parents, Siblings, Grandparents And Great Grandparents (which does not include Aunts/Uncles/Cousins) and your Find-A-Grave Contributor Number. A transfer cannot be done without the contributor number. It takes up too much time for me to search out the above information.

If you are going to E-mail me put Find a Grave in the subject line. Thanks

RE: Paul Miller
Your stories certainly sound like my grandpa! Hah! Thanks for the laughs. My father and both my brothers started out working for my gramps too (thankfully, I was a "girl" so I wasn't expected to....).

"The Duck" would most likely have been my grandpa's brother, Donald Roy "Duck" Miller. :) His memorial #88502454 - I put some photos on there so you should be able to tell. I can't imagine there was more than one person called that. Ha ha ha....

My gramps and all his siblings were hard workers - but you started at the bottom, I can still remember hearing my own brothers talk about being "the" laborer.. they didn't like it either.

Thanks for sharing, I really appreciate it!

RE: Paul Miller
Sorry about the number and thanks for taking the time to find the right one - I really do appreciate it!

I would LOVE to hear any stories you have of my grandfather - he is, as always, truly missed! (Both he and my grams.)

Thank you for all the work you've done on find-a-grave, really. A good portion of my Ozaukee County relatives have been put on here thanks to you. (Miller, Langlais/Langlois, and others.) My next trip home to WI I plan on visiting as many as I can and with this site I can build a map and know where they are ahead of time.

RE: i need somehelp
I'm not exactly sure as I have not had to visit it, yet. BillionGraves' page has a map on it, which may help:

norwegian Cemetery
If I remember correctly there are two cemeteries by that name so there is some confusion. One is located back a lane (spring Road) and the other is close by on Mink Road close to it's end. I have a couple of maps I could send but I need your e-mail address. If you go to my page I have my e-mail address there, if you like send me an E-mail and I will respond with the maps.

I noticed that a name you have added Dorothy Moon Ohlemacher (136103662) may be in the wrong Masonic Cemetery. You list her as being buried in Lafayette County, Wisconsin but the obit lists as being buried in the Masonic Cemetery in Grand Junction, Colorado.

location of Gail Godersky Volkmann
Hi Glenn,
I have an obit for Gail Godersky Volkmann. She is the daughter of Paul and Beverly Schultz Volkmann.

I have not been able to locate her burial site. The funeral home is Eernisse Funeral Home in Port Washington. Do you have any idea where she might be? I can send the obit to you, if you have her.

Thank you,
Sue Balow Parker
