Hometown of Hammond, Indiana, near Chicago. I now live in Boise, Idaho. I've worked full time in EMS as a paramedic and instructor since 1978. Since July, 2015 I've also worked part time for Cloverdale Funeral home in Boise, ID. My EMS work has included an EMS provider, manager, educator, and in communications. I've been photographing cemeteries and grave sites for over 15 years. I have developed a presentation on the art and symbolism of gravestones and cemeteries which I give through the city's Community Education system and at genealogy/ family history conferences, and to various historical groups. I also give historical tours of cemeteries in Boise and am a tour guide at the Old Idaho State Penitentiary.|
Requests to add obituaries to entries will have them edited to meet F.A.G. guidelines, mentioning no living relatives. If possible, please provide evidence of your edits. I've been burned a few times with inaccurate information.
If requesting a transfer or use of a photo, I will gladly do so if you are immediate family (parents, children, grandchildren). PLEASE PROVIDE THE Findagrave ENTRY NUMBER, not just the name. (Do you realize how many James Smiths there are?) and YOUR F.A.G. member number as well.
I'm always available to photograph graves in the Boise/Ada County, Idaho and surrounding areas. My ISP doesn't send me photo requests for some reason, but feel free to e-mail me directly if you have any requests. Before you send me corrections to entries, please make sure it's my entry and not just my photo on the entry.

I notice that you have the following listed as spouse for Howard W Miller, Find A Grave Memorial# 12412831
Charles Legrand Woodmansee (1859 - 1938)*
This is completely incorrect. Is there a chance you could remove this connection? Thank you

Hi there- I am wondering if by any chance you might be related to the Chaffee buried in Grant Co. WA. Memorial # 11158666.
I am trying to find some Chaffee family who were in the Everett area in 1897 and a DE was killed when he was involved in a (believed to be) mining accident. There were four Chaffee members in an Everett household in the 1897 Wash St Census - which gives names but no ages. Mattie, D.E. Charles, and Albert. Albert and Chas and DE and Mattie may all be sibs. Or DE and Mattie married, with children Charles and Albert. There is no clear records for any except DE was killed in 1897. I can't find the other 3 in 1900 and they are a mystery as to relationships and or where they came from. I find a Charles D. Chaffee consistently in Seattle, but not sure he is the same Chas D. in the 1897 census.
Any clues in the Chaffee buried there in Grant Co?
Most grateful for any info you may have!

David, I'm the manager of the OPC and would like to update the information on the OPC splash page on findagrave. The 16 year old historical plaque that you placed there contains information which has been updated now and which we display on our webpage: oswegopioneercemetery.org
Could you remove the image of the old plaque and, if you wish, refer folks to our website?

Hi David, I am fairly new to this web sight and I don't under how transfers work? Elin is related to me. She is on my father's side. It was his father's sister born in Sweden and died in Wisconsin but buried here with other family. I have more information about her so, do I put the info on your sight here or do I ask you to transfer it?? Julie

Thank you for your special care of Mary E Brooks' gravesite in the Carey Pioneer Cemetery, looking to find other possible graves within the small fenced-in area, and, especially, making note of it here! Much appreciated!

Thanks, Davidfor finding Bill. I can now attach him to the family. Do you remember the Big Band era? I am now putting a shirt-tail relative on Find A Grave--Ray McKinley rather Raymond Frederick McKinley who was rather prominent during that period. I thought someone else would do it but I guess no one will.
I think I now have completed all the Morris Hill transfers. Thanks again. Wilda
