My wife began researching her family while still in high school. After our marriage she began researching my family as well. I started helping her about thirty years ago. We created and maintained three large files, as well as helping her sister creating some of her files.|
Our daughter Cathy began helping with our genealogy recently. She has been a great help, finding several records we had been searching for for years. It is a pleasure to work with her, and I especially enjoy our trips to various cemeteries.
I will be happy to transfer any memorial I manage to you, provided I am not related, and you are.

I would appreciate it very much! Frederick Curry's parents were Amanda McDonald and Joseph William Curry. Amanda is my relative. I am finding new stuff to link the family together and that would be helpful. Thank you for memoralizing Frederick!
|Anonymous||Jennie Belle Davis and family|
Thank you so much for the corrections and additions to the family. I had tried to find Jennie for some time with no luck. I found her husband listed yesterday at a different cemetery in Los Angeles and started my search again for her. I actually found Carl Richard Davis first, then the other brothers and kept looking until I found her. I think that James Davis buried nearby may be the last son who I thought might still be living. I have his birth date as abt 1921 from census forms and have a picture of him in his military uniform in WWII but haven't been able to find any records since 1940. Can you tell from the cemetery records if the James Davis buried at Holy Sepulchur is the son of Thurston and Jennie Hess Davis?
Again thank you for all you've done to bring this family together. Martha Carper

I need to find the 3 others. Please let me know how to contact you directly to make this easier on you.
My email is email@example.com. Nothing like obvious, huh?

RE: Memorial r Edward J Dutton (1908-1966)
My father, Edward J Dutton - of the marker used for his memorial page - is erroneously described in many ways.
His birth date is March 21, 1908, born in Snyder, Scurry County, Texas.
His father was Edward Byron Dutton, born Moffatt, B Co., Texas, 1876-1935. He died in Angeles, CA.
His mother: Mary Florence "Molly" Hurt, 1881-1956. S died in Downey, Los Angeles CA.
His name is NOT Edward Jeffery Dutton, but Edward Jefferson Dutton.
His date of death is 17 March 1966. He died at home in El Centro, Imperial Co., CA. He is buried in the Riverview Cemetery and this is his marker on memorial page you created.
He and my mother leave a survivors: eight children, all alive.
If you would like to transfer this memorial page to me, which I ask, I will fix it up.

Requesting your permission to use the cemetery marker photos in our personal tree. The Newell's are Bruce's cousins and the photos will make a great addition to our tree.
Thanks for your consideration.
