Bio and Links
Bio Photo My wife began researching her family while still in high school. After our marriage she began researching my family as well. I started helping her about thirty years ago. We created and maintained three large files, as well as helping her sister creating some of her files.

Our daughter Cathy bagan helping with our genealogy recently. She has been a great help, finding several records we had been searching for for years. It is a pleasure to work with her, and I especially enjoy our trips to various cemeteries.

I will be happy to transfer any memorial I manage to you, provided I am not related, and you are.

RE: Mary Margaret Giber
Thanks for your reply. Well, it was worth asking, just in case you knew something about where Peter Giber might be buried.

Best regards.

RE: David D Stockton
Thanks! Well, that is neat. We are fourth cousins once removed then and your daughter is my fifth cousin, haha. Not every day you meet a fourth cousin once removed. Pleasure to meet you : )

RE: David D Stockton
Very cool, we are distance cousins. Depending on which of his children you're descended from, we are no further than 4th cousins once removed, haha. He is my Great Great Great Great Grandpa. Are you by chance descended from his daughter, Elizabeth Jane Stockton, or one of David's other children?

Mary Margaret Giber
The Giber family were "cousins-in-law" on my paternal grandmother's side. Mary Margaret Giber (#118149249) was the widow of Peter John Giber (1916-1962), son of Steve Krusnicki and Catherine Gabor ("Giber") Krusnicki Drobot of Baudette, Minnesota. (Peter's parents divorced, and their kids then had their last name changed to Giber, and Catherine then remarried to a man surnamed Drobot.) I'm trying to find out where Peter is buried. Am I correct in surmising that he is not buried with his wife Mary Margaret? (No need to transfer this memorial -- I'm mainly trying to track down where Peter is buried. I only know he was living in Lynwood, California, when he died on 19 July 1962, according to his obituary published in the Baudette Region newspaper.)

Peggy Rose Trujillo Smith #118890902
hello. Peggy and Rose Trujillo are two different people. they are mother and daughter. they already have memorials on here. Peggy's is #37520731 and her mother, Rose is #37520713. Rose was my grandpa's big sister and Peggy was her daughter. they didn't use Peggy's married name on their grave because they were both murdered by Peggy's estranged husband, Ivan Smith. he killed both of them and then shot her nephew, who survived and then Ivan turned the gun on himself. it is sickening. I just wanted you to know they already have memorials on here.
thanks, Rikki McGowan
