April/May 2016

I will be happy to add information and links to memorials that I manage.

Please use the EDIT tab on each memorial. I can usually get updates done within a day or two.

If your updates are taking longer to appear, then we are probably traveling and I will be getting to additions/corrections just as soon as I have internet access.

If we are on a trip, we could be out of touch from the internet for as much as 2 weeks at a time.

A transfer request must include your relationship to the individual, and a little extra identifying information. This is just to help prevent any potential mix-ups.

Please feel free to use my photos in your on-line family tree. It would be much appreciated if you would give credit to Find A Grave as your source for the photo.

Thanks ahead of time for your help and contributions. They are much appreciated!

Thanks Cashie, it was interesting enough to find that he was a West Point Grad. All I did was, typing his name, and a few web sites popped up. Plus it was nice that he had this nice attractive headstone put up. I told my wife and I need to tell Terry Chaffee about him, for this Thomas Bingham may have been at these Posts or Forts, when their ancestors came by in those years. So, thanks for writing this up, it sounds good to me.

Hi Cashie, I been working on this guy, Thomas Bingham. And I found some interesting things about him. But, here I want to add more info. I did more research as to where is Dona Ana and Cebolleta are. This is what you would find, Dona Ana is a County of New Mexico so Thomas was assigned to Fort Thorn which was along the Rio Grande, then up to Cebolleta or Fort Wingate which is west of then Post Albuquerque. Then on to Fort Graham Texas for Scouting.

Hi Cashie,

Thank you for your response. It is NOT questionable at this time. I'm looking to have firm proof of the relation. Ancestry and Family Search are coming up empty on this subject. I'm looking for a Will or Probate or any other proof.
I look forward to hearing from you when you return.
Thank you!

Well, I have the same stone in White Rock from the PA site (I was indexing White Rock for the PA site, when I added the names that weren't listed for the cemetery):

I did already delete mine. Figured since you had the original I would take mine down. When you get back and get time is soon enough. I just got back last night after a month away and I'm playing catch up, too.

James Powers Baird
Hi Cashie,

Thank you for posting all you have. I was doing some research for a friend regarding the Baird line. I see here, you have James Powers Baird with the parents as Aaron Baird and wife Margaret Pratt. I was wondering if you have any documentation to support this. If you could point me in the right direction to find a copy, it would be appreciated. If you need anything from Pinellas County Florida, let me know.

Oh, my favorite thing that I don't want to do. We had are taxes done once by a guy that worked for the IRS, he didn't mess up, but told us next time it will cost us over $400.00 next time to do our California Taxes alone. So we went back to our tax Lady we had before, she only charged us for both Fed and State, 100.00 like she did you some years for us.

I sure you well do good, so don't sorry, for they will find you, ha, ha.

We now mail our Tax forms in.

That pressure.

HI Cashie
Am still working on the Morris family and this Dick Sanders is one of them. Terry Chaffee has such a large family. It's taken me to folks who lived up in Fort Tejon area in the 1850's and over to Tehachapi and down to Bakersfield,Merced, Mariposa Co, and down again to San Simeon, Cayucos, up old Creek Rd above Cayucos, Morro Bay and Templeton over to San Luis Obispo and a few places in Los Angeles etc, very large family. We just found his 2nd gr at grandmother and her 3rd husband John Thorup who died here in San Luis Obispo in 1904. Then I found a famous person for him, baritone singer. Oh, oh, can't remember this first name " Tibbett " was his last name. Oh yes Lawrence Tibbett, this guy has a Hollywood walk of fame star, and a U S Stamp after him, cool.
So am busy.

So, how ar you, busy too, I guess.
