Tabith Hunter Kent
It would seem that Tabitha, wife of Absalom Kent, would have died before 1817 or either not be the mother of Absalom's children? Mary's date of death creates a conflict.

Stephen Workman Death Date
I have been researching Stephen Workman. I have located probate records that were filed after his death. The first filed on the 7th of Sep 1829. This makes his death date on this memorial incorrect. Documents are available on Ancestry in the Ohio Probate Records.
When and if I find the exact death date I will let you know. Find A Grave Memorial# 39034160
Thank you.

Samuel Leeper
Eldersville United Methodist Church (EUMC) has been serving the community of Eldersville, Pennsylvania since 1829. My questions is. Was Samuel's body held in cold storage until 1829 since he died in 1805 so he could be buried at EUMC?. I have spent the last two summers walking the cemetery and not found one Leeper buried at EUMC. Considering he was a Presbyterian as was his parents and children, why would he be buried at EUMC?

Herbert family -Isaac & Mary
Hi: I appreciate all the work you have done on this Herbert family - I have followed this line because of a close personal relationship with a Herbert descendant - I'm not related, just searching official records.

I messaged on Emily's edit that they were born & christened in Wales - many people confuse Monmouthshire as being in England - but it is in Wales.

Wales, Monmouthshire Parish Register records the marriage of Thomas Rowland Herbert to Hesther Lewis on 18 April 1842 at Llangwm, Monmouthshire, Wales.
Isaac, was christened 20 October 1844 at Mitchel Troy, Monmouthshire, Wales. Next, daughter Emily, was christened at Mitchel Troy on 29 November 1846, having been born on 31 October. Daughter Mary is recorded as born at Mitchel Troy, but christened 25 March 1849 at Penallt Parish Church.

The United States Census Mortality Schedule, ending June 1850, shows the deaths of Isaac Herbert ( 5 years old ) and Mary Herbert ( 9 months old ) at Macoupin County, Illinois.

It was November of 1849 and they died of scarlet fever [3 days duration]; there would have been urgency in burying them. The nearest & oldest burial ground close to Palmyra, where these LDS Church members were residing preparing for their trek west, was Asbury Mound Cemetery. (Macoupin County, ILL)

Cheers~ Shirleen
