Bio and Links
Bio Photo Hi,

I have been doing genealogy for 30 years. I started doing cemeteries about 10 years ago. Surnames: Bolon, Mead, Short, Strobel, Clausen, Bounds, Woodman, Fontaine, Bissonnet, Drouillard, Robert, Valiquet, Terrien, DuPuis and Berg. Please verify what you take from the internet.

Husbands Lines: Portmann from Switzerland, Mitchell, Carbaugh, Longstreth and Winebrenner from Pennsylvania.

Please include your relationship to the memorial and member number for transfers. If they are not my family I will seriously consider transferring to a family member.

I filmed all of Mountain View Cemetery in Connell WA., May 2011.

Pleasant View Cemetery, Mondovi, WA has also been filmed, May 2011. Filmed additional monuments added in May of 2013 and May of 2014.

Saint Antoine Cemetery Monroe county Michigan. I am currently working on updating this cemetery. I used Denissen's and Souls of St. Antoine Cemetery for my research on this cemetery. Please seek your own documentation for cemeteries. Find A Grave is a starting place. Records can be wrong, but they do help us find a starting place. Happy to share records for this cemetery. March 2013.

RE: Roscoe Oakes
You are very welcome. I came across another grave in the catacomb which belongs to Hester Elizabeth McKeen Hanson. This is the mother of Roscoe's wife, Margaret Oakes, based on my research. I have created the new memorial and proposed the relationship link to the owner of Margaret's memorial. I'm not sure if she is related to you as well but thought you may be interested.

Infant Seck Memorial No. 107443471
I am so grateful Anita to find this precious child's Memorial Page. His father is a brother of my direct ancestor Dorothea Seck. They were stolen as children along with another brother by a band of Indians. In Dennison's Genealogy - John Seck's children were Conrad Seck, married before civil magistrate at Detroit Michigan, 2 October 1806 to Mary Morrison. He was a tailor. Dorothea Seck who married Jacob Hill. Conrad's obituary mentions being stolen as a child. Most Sincerely, Carolyn Krueger

RE: Roscoe McClure
Daisy D Scribner was buried in Mountain View Cemetery, Davenport, Lincoln Co., Washington. Find A Grave # 14229513. I've sent a message asking if I could be the contributor/owner of her Find A Grave account. The former creators have put their messages on hold and taken a break. So I am waiting for an answer from Find A Grave on this.

RE: Roscoe McClure
That's what I was quite puzzled about. Why Daisy is being called Margaret. I have not heard or seen anything else that calls her by the name of Margaret. Her name was Daisy Dan Davis.

His first wife is Mary "Ella" Smith. She married Mr. Duncan after Roscoe McClure.

I really don't understand the name of Margaret in the obit.

Oh well, another mystery.

RE: Omega Oakes
Here's the obit:

Baker Pioneer Is Buried--Omega Oakes died at his home in Baker on Monday, January 7. He was a Grand Army veteran and a pioneer of Oregon. He leaves a widow, three daughters, Mrs. Bessie Parker of Portland, Mrs. Grace Hindman and Mrs. Eva Shockley of Baker, and one son, Roscoe F. Oakes of San Francisco. Source: Oregonian, The (Portland, OR) - January 15, 1918

Omega is the "uncle of the husband of my great-grandmother". Are you related? I am always looking for other relatives that are interested in the family tree.

I am sorry, I don't have anything on her. I did found a Priscilla Short, married before Daniel Eaton, but I am not sure if that is her. Will keep looking and if I find anything, I will let you know.
