I have been doing genealogy for 35 years now. I started doing cemeteries about 15 years ago. Surnames: Bolon, Mead, Short, Strobel, Clausen, Bounds, Woodman, Fontaine, Bissonnet, Drouillard, Robert, Valiquet, Terrien, DuPuis and Berg.
Husbands Lines: Portmann from Switzerland, Mitchell, Carbaugh, Longstreth and Winebrenner from Pennsylvania.
Please include your relationship to the memorial and member number for transfers. If they are not my family I will seriously consider transferring to a family member.
I filmed all of Mountain View Cemetery in Connell WA., May 2011.
Pleasant View Cemetery, Mondovi, WA has also been filmed, May 2011. Filmed additional monuments added in May of 2013 and May of 2014.
Saint Antoine Cemetery Monroe county Michigan. I am currently working on updating this cemetery. I used Denissen's and Souls of St. Antoine Cemetery for my research on this cemetery. Please seek your own documentation for cemeteries. Find A Grave is a starting place. Records can be wrong, but they do help us find a starting place. Happy to share records for this cemetery. March 2013.
Please verify what you take as we all make mistakes even thou we try to be accurate.

Thank you for the obit for my grandmother.
I've added it to the memorial.
Tried to leave this message on her memorial, but the "I am not a robot" link does not seem to be working.
Not sure if you're aware of this, but Acadian and French-Canadian women keep their maiden name after they marry.
From the registers of St Jean-Baptiste at the Nova Scotia Archives:
RG 1 Vol. 26a p.436 Marie Dupuis
died 14 May 1751, about fifty-three years old, wife of Alexandre Hebert

I saw that you were part of the Powers family some time back. Do you have any photos of Laura Powers and her husband Jesse L Dodson. Jesse was my great-grandmothers brother. Can't seem to find any photos of that side of the family.

Thank you for the headstone photo of Theodore. This was her father. I appreciate you taking time to do this for me and for your added note.
|Marilyn Hankins Kromrey||RE: Lyle Raw|
Thanks for your email about Lyle Raw's place of death.
I am sorry if this caused you great concern. . .so I did some more digging for info. Evidently Lyle was married 3 times: Essie in 1917, one daughter, Marna Dean. They divorced...Marna then lived with Essie and her 2nd husband Herbert Emerick in Twin Falls Idaho in 1940. (She may still be living) She is also with Lyle's brother Lloyd & Ella in Lewiston on the 1940 Census
Lyle 2nd m. Nellie Sturman Jan 1929. . .lived in Portand, Ore 1930 census. However she is single in 1940 ??? (question there)not mentioned married in her mother's obit. but single in Helena.
Lyle was a traveling salesman.
Lyle registered for WWI draft in Miller, Elmer, Clayton Co. Georgia. WWII draft was in
In 1935 he lived in Atlanta, Fulton, Georgia
Lye 3d m Ages Nunamaker of Washigton DC on 28 Dec 1939 in Casa Grande, Arizona
1940 Census he lived in Tyer, Smith Co, Texas with Agnes.
He worked for the WPA as a project Meditor.
In 1943 they lived in Dallas Tx (city directory)
You may have seen all of the above.
With all your genealogy research it must be a frustration not to be able to find Lyle's death record. My only suggestion after looking at Ancestry's records is to contact the Lewiston City Cemetery and ask the office staff to look at the burial info. . .some one had to have made arrangements for his burial if he didn't die in Lewiston. (I broke my own rule of needing documentation. . .it was late at night)
Please let me know the results you find. . I have become interested in the mystery. I will delete my edit and I apologize for not having documentation on Lyle's death.
I have been researching the Raw family for a dear friend whose mother was Florence Raw dau. of Alexander Raw, Lyle's Uncle. She is interested in the England connection.
Thanks for all the help you give others.

|Joseph Morse||Want to know more|
I don't know much about my Morse side. I do know that I'm the great grandson of Jackson Morse and Anna Fontaine. I've gotten as far as Arnold Morse and Frances Swatelle. I'm glad you've contributed as much as you have, to put faces to names. Thank you

Better yet, put up the actual obit with citation.
|Jack Gilchrist||RE: Dillia Longstreth, etc|
Dillia's daughter, Florence Evelyn Walters (b.1906, d.1989), married Everett Atwell (b.1900, d.1988). This branch of the Atwell family is where I link into your husband's family.
Everett and Florence are also buried in the Amity Cemetery. Perhaps you also have a photo of their gravesite markers that you can post one day.
Thanks again for your help.

Your efforts on behalf of this relative are most appreciated.
