|Laurie Voss Barthlow||DeForest Leonard Voorhies|
Hello - Do you have a copy of the actual newspaper clipping announcing the below birth? If so, I would love to have a copy of it. Thank you! Laurie Voss Barthlow firstname.lastname@example.org
"Mr. and Mrs. DeForest Voorhies received word of the arrival of their first grandson, William DeForest Barnes, born Friday, July 23, to Mr. and Mrs. Cody Barnes of Naples." - The Alfred Sun, July 29, 1948

In case you don't have the link.
|greatgrands||Re: Burial location for Mark Lacy|
Thanks so much for verifying the location of Mark's burial. Do you happen to know if his wife Mary is in the same cemetery?
I don't even have her date of death, but thought I'd ask anyway.
|Debby Brink||Lane Family in Maple Grove Cemetery|
Wanted to say thankyou for all your hard work in collaberating the listings in the cemeteries. Good job. My question is,,I have found from Betty, Lee and Lyle Lane to their father Earl Lane and mother Angelyne. Earl's father Charles Lane is buried there too, I thought around #187 or maybe not. I am looking for more info on Charles Lane, his wife and I think some of the other kids are there too. Thankyou-Debby
I believe the Pauldings buried in Paulding Cemetery in Schuyler Co. are my family. I have also found many Pawlings in Steuben Co. and wonder if they are part of my family. The different census have used both spellings for the same people. I know that Steuben and Schuyler counties overlapped at one time and this has added to my confussion. I wonder too, if you know where I could find the obit. for those buried in this Paulding cemetery. Any info on this family would be greatly appreciated

George is listed twice, once with the wrong year of birth. Yours is the most complete listing. The other memorial is #28805260.
|DWB||Sarah Emery Emerson|
Sarah Emery Emerson (122870346) was the daughter of David Emery and Mary "Polly" Porter and not the daughter of Charles Emerson. Mary married Charles after David's death.
Do you have any information about Charles' parents?

|Karen Dickson||Dr. William C. Dunham|
In relooking at the cemetery records and entering them into my "tree", I find that I was wrong and that Ann Amelia Dunham, who died 19 May 1850 and is buried in Altay cem., would have to be the daughter of his first wife, Harriet A. Kendall.
Harriet died 11 June 1850 and maybe from having Ann Amelia.
For a Doctor he sure had bad luck in saving his children (and wife)
Interesting I wonder what was going on that caused the deaths of several in and around 1853.
|Karen Dickson||William C. Dunham, Dr.|
Thanks so much for all the hard work you have done on this site. I have been looking for years for Alice Dunham. I was told by my grandmother that her father, Albert Warren Westervelt , had married 1st, Alice Dunham, and they had 2 children who all died including Alice.
Albert Warren Westervelt lived with his parents, Christian and Sophia (Ackerman) Westervelt in Lodi in the 1870 census. Albert was 16 and in this same census, I find Alice Dunham, also 16, living with her mother, Lucinda, who has now remarried Erastus VanVleet.
probably around 1861.
I think that this is the Alice A. Dunham that is dau. of William C. Dunham and twin to Frank Dunham.
Grandmother also said that she and her brother had been named after this first family of her father's.
Leon Frank and Lola Mae…not sure on the Lola, but Frank would have been Alice's brother's name.
The info on the Altay cem. site has been a godsend. I can't thank you enough. Only one mistake, Ann Amelia Dunham looks to be also one of Lucinda and Dr. William C. Dunham's children.
