I am a retired teacher, living in Janesville, Wisconsin. I like to research family on both my mother's side (Tess, Funk, Adams, Butler) and my dad's side (Pierce, Donaldson, Leaver, Chambers, Knox).|
In addition, I have been teaching myself about local history by researching and listing old burials from Millard cemetery in Walworth County and Oak Hill cemetery in Janesville, WI. If any of those folks are your close relatives, just request a transfer.

Thank you for trying to discover Eliza's grave.
I will try to create a memorial for her anyway based on my death record sources.

Thanks again. I was thinking that maybe the historical society might be interested in doing some research on her and her work. Then they might be interested in doing a fundraiser for a memorial there.

Thank you very much for the transfer. Best wishes in your future work on Janesville history and beyond.

Thank you for your work on this. I have one of Ella's watercolors. This is what started me hunting for Ella. She is the third artist form the early 1900s that I have located. These artists are very talented and I don't like seeing them forgotten.
If you can transfer Ella's memorial to me that would be appreciated. I will continue adding information to her page as it comes available. #46887767

So happy to see the update on Ella P Smith. She was a very good watercolor artist.

I am a Vermont Civil War buff AND AM WORKING ON A PROJECT TO IDENTIFY THE LAST RESTING PLACES OF MANY OF OUR "old soldiers" that had roots/ ties to Vermont. I am asking you if I may use the photo's you contributed to their Find A Grave memorials, to post on the Vt.C.W.site? ( www.vermontcivilwar.org)
You will receive credit for this.
Thank you for your consideration.

Do you have some documentation for Hattie's maiden name of Waldo. I am unable to find any proof.
