Bio
I first became interested in researching my family tree about 14 years ago. I was able to get a good deal of information on my father's family. But my mother's family was proving to be a problem, due to a genealogy nemesis, fire in the courthouse.
Thanks to Find-A-Grave, I have located my maternal ancestors 3 generations back! Thanks F-A-G !!
Been to Nashville soon for a more 'hands on' approach to the research to supplement what I've already found and was able to visit there graves of my great-grandparents and 1 of my great-great grandparents. I also was able to search the wonderful newspaper archives in Nashville for marriage announcements and obits for several family members, which of course gleaned even more information!
I love visiting old cemeteries (and ghosts towns), but never thought that I would find a place to post some of the photos I've taken. I hope that I can help others like some have helped me in the past.
I have added many memorials of photos that I've taken while wandering through cemeteries in the Tacoma, WA area.
***And I am more than willing to transfer any memorial that I have created, as long as it isn't also a member of my own family..... all you have to do is ask***** AND PLEASE GIVE ME THE MEMORIAL # AND YOUR ID # to make it easier to find the memorial and make the transfer directly to you....
Any photos of headstones that I have taken, feel free to use.
Any photos of people that I have attached to any memorial please ask first before you use.
Families I am researching, all from Missouri/Illinois/Tennessee area: Heffernan, Charleville, Panchot, Timper, Gerard, Aubuchon, Hynes, Dulle, Altepeter.
