Hello, I believe that this person,Henry, was the child of Culliciah (pronounced Cull-K)West and his wife, Annie Eagle. My family had been acquainted with him since the early 1930s on.
The 1910 census Cherokee co OK, Peggs twp, Dist 15, Apr 21 shows:
house 14, family 14:
West, Cullicaiah D., indian, 26, md 1time/2yrs, him/parents born OK; he is 3/4 Cherokee and 1/4 white, drew money in 1904; he works as the manager of a lumber mill/own account/rents/house.
West, Annie, wife, indian, 22, md 1time/2yrs, has had 1ch/1living, she/parents born OK; she is 7/8 Cherokee, 1/8 white; she drew money in 1904.
West, Henry D., son, indian, 1yr 8mos, him/parents born OK; he is 13/16 Cherokee; 3/16 white.
