Just wanted to let you know there is contradictory info in his page. The info for his page says he was born in 1881 but in the pic of his headstone it says he was born in 1880. Which one is correct?

U R very welcome
|Mr. Jean Coston||James McCollough|
I have a copy of the oit that you have used
in the James McCollough memorial.
In the first line of the second paragraph,
Please add the city of his birth, Halifax.
|Sherry||RE: Alonzo/Lonzo thanks|
Thank you for making note of the changes. Going by Lonzo is probably why I had a hard time finding him!

you're very welcome Mark,
It is a lovely cememtery with really old stones.
I'll try to get back out there in the next couple of weeks to take one of the busted up stone. I also thought I could try the Port Hope library to see whats listed there in the Family History room I don't drive so my husband who is retired now takes me all over the countryside to take photos..I'll have to get him an Xlarge Tim Hortons ! :) could be worse, I could be going to the malls right?
I noticed you have a few requests for Union Cemetery and a couple of others in Port hope. they are quite large cemeteries for our area but I will attempt to get those in the next month or so.
|Patricia Cook-Bosnell||Canton Cemetery|
just added your requests for Canton,
Harriet and William were easily found but John and Hannah's names were not on any stones ,although there was a damaged stone..really old and crumbly quite close by it may be theirs, also another white stone with Agar names. I left a photo of what I found.

Hello, I found her obituary in The Gazette and Daily which is a York, PA paper. It was in the October 8, 1936 paper on page 6. I checked for her husband but they didn't have one for him, unfortunately. Their son's obit came up though and I added that to his page. His was in The Gazette and Daily paper dated March 5, 1954 page 47. I double checked on that page number and there were that many pages!! Hope I helped. Take Care, Laura Hershey

you are very welcome :)
Thanks for finding this and posting. Wm J Greer was indeed the father of Tena, but her mother was initially (nee) Christina McLellan; married the widower Greer in Nova Scotia May 1880; he died 1917, and a few years later she married Jacob "Jack" Jacobsen; he died in 1931 and in 1941 she married Michael Gimse. Christy McLellan Greer Jacobsen Gimse gave all of her husbands nice gravestones in Arlington Cemetery in Arlington, Washington, but I have only found a possible maker for her.
Feel free to update Tena's site with this info (or not).
