William Robarge (1882-1972) Hi. Thank you for noticing that and I have added the new Obituary. I believe the marriage date to Alice is not Correct, thinking maybe year of first marriage. I am looking for his Children and his first wife, if you know where they are buried, please let me know and I will add the information. Thanks Fraya PS: Would like to maintain these memorials?. I am adding as much information to all my memorials and transferring to a friend or Find A Grave. If in Calhoun Co Mi to a friend and others to Find A Grave.
I posted 3 photos for Rev. Francis Xavier Pfaller, profile #151882418.
I would be glad to transfer Rev. Pfaller's Find A Grave profile to you if you wish.
What is left of his memorial monument appears to be a section of his original monument that was later set in cement.
The Bay Area Genealogical Society incorrectly has Rev. Pfaller listed with the first name Dom. The "Dom" on the monument is an abbreviation of Dominus which I believe is Latin for "Lord." The words born and died on the monument are also in Latin, natus and mort. I have advised the Bay Area Genealogical Society of the error so it may be corrected on their website.
The biography information I found on Rev. Pfaller mentions him at St. Nicholas Church in New Franken where he started a parsonage. I have never heard of a church by that name in New Franken. Either the reference is inaccurate and should be St. Kilian's or I need to dig deeper to find some record of a St. Nicholas parish in the New Franken area. If you are able to shed some light on this, I would be interested in hearing it.
I am glad to help! Thank you for your note of thanks!
I went ahead and connected the profiles for Alice's parents, John and Pamelia Cullen. Their gravesites should be easy to find in Section FF-T, so I will get some photos posted on their profile pages soon.
Some of the crazy things people do - taking a Find A Grave profile from one person and giving it to someone else? Hard to understand what that gal was thinking. Thanks for sharing her name. I will be on the alert if she ever requests a transfer from me.
Of late, I am running into problems with some Billion Graves newbies who go grave to grave in an assembly line fashion and just haphazardly snapping photos. And many (probably most) of the graves are already documented on Find A Grave They are ticking off a lot of people, I have been wondering if other Find A Grave photographers are finding the same thing. Some family members visiting graves at Allouez Catholic Cemetery have even called the police on them.
RE: Celest Smith's Parents Links are made. Thanks for the info. You seem to have quite a bit about this family. I'd be happy to transfer management of Pete & Celest's memorials to you if you are a relative.
I was doing a search on google and came across this web page with all the Mireau graves. My dad and mom are Lance and Wilma. I have some pictures of Aristride and Sarah Mireau. I was raised on the farm where Aristide moved to after the original homestead had burned.
Custer Co Cemetery This is my cousins family link, my cousin had told me about him being moved and as you see Karen Griswold Stroh added: William is buried in the Custer Co Cemetery, in Miles City, Custer Co, Montana. Section R Lot 875 He was disintered from Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery on 10-5-1996 I really don't know anymore than is recorded here, could it be the one you are looking for was also moved as was William? I'm not sure of her connection even to William's Memorial but you may try Karen Griswold Stroh and see if she can shed some light on this for you...good luck, sorry I couldn't help...more! Susan
I have added a second Mary Fountain to Butteville Cemetery, with the birth and death dates you provided and have made her the spouse of Alfred. I don't know why I didn't catch that before. The cemetery entries were made from a list I found and the photos were added afterwards. I guess I just saw a Mary Fountain and linked the two.
