Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been doing genealogy for many many years and really like findagrave.com. I used to do just my own family but now do cemeteries where ever we go. If someone sees anything that is wrong or if you have anything to offer please contact me as I would be glad to help.

Use the edit function for transfers. Include your contributor number so I get the right person.
Find-A-Grave guidelines for transfer requests are for direct relatives (spouse, siblings, parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents). If you are requesting a transfer, please be specific about your relationship. I generally will not transfer aunts, uncles or cousins. I am not willing to transfer my family members, but I will be happy to add information to their memorials.

I have no objection to transferring memorials of your close relatives. Please be sure to tell me the relationship. I will no longer transfer memorials to someone asking for all memorials of a surname to be transferred to them. There are lots of new members requesting transfers who are managing many more memorials than they have posted. Please keep in mind that this web site won't work if you aren't willing to go out and gather information that might help someone else!

Mt View Cemetery
Penny Lee, Do you live near Mt View Cemetery near Athol Idaho? If you do, question, next time you visit the cemetery would you look for these two graves, Annie Rutz was said she is buried near old gate on the north side and her son John Rutz is near. We had ask for a grave photo, but no one ever filled it. Not sure if they ever had a stone. Annie died 1915 her son John 1905. Thank you. Carol

Noting that Burt is not a PAULI family member, I found family on one of the other PAULI burials in same cemetery. She's having email issues, but managed to get a short note to me...I'm waiting for her full email message.

The research on this family took me to Iowa and to Germany, and in communication with German researchers, as well as our story being published in a Cologne newspaper and appearing in two books on historical German immigration. My brother lives in Norway and has made several trips, one just this last month July 2016 ad learned the very old family house in the fairy-tale village of Blankenheim has been sold and bought by a person restoring the interior to the original mud walls. The story continues. My point is that more information is available and I have for many years been creatively using all forms of communication to discover it...especially the various message boards when they were very active. That is not the case now, but FindAGrave has been a wonderful tool to inform other researchers / family who often don't have a story I have discovered and one that should be shared. I don't publish it in books for sale..I give it away for free out of pure joy for telling the story.

I'm sorry you don't permit that kind of info sharing in a 'flower' memorial and I'll remove what I posted as soon as I'm able to discuss it with some of the family members. Thanks very much for your contributions to FindAGrave. We researchers always appreciate the valuable information it often provides. By the way, I've DNA tested my brother, including FTDNA's cousin matching test and we've had 1 PAULI cousin match.

My husband and I are moving closer to our sons, and my email may change. However, I can always be reached at this email audrey@stanaland.com

Olivia Susan Robledo Chavira-Carter
Hi,
I just wanted to let you know that I declined both of your edits for the following reasons:
1. you stated that one was her mother, but the mother you suggested was born 20 yrs after Olivia was born. So I was thinking maybe you meant that olivia was the other persons mother.
2. Name change - the nationwide locator has her listed as Chavira-Carter, even though her husbands last name is just Carter. If I change it to just Carter then someone is going to come along and add her based on the last name Chavira-Carter and then we will have duplicate memorials. I did request a picture of the headstone though.

I did add the maiden name that you suggested

Florence (Mazzei) Farrier-Tapfer
Hey Penny, I hope you are enjoying summer! I recently came across duplicates for Florence (Mazzei) Farrier-Tapfer, but yours (#145965066) shows that she is buried in Lewistown MT and she is actually in Livingston MT. I think that both towns have Calvary Cemeterys! I usually think whoever made it first or a family member get to keep it but It looks like the memorials were made on the same day! (the other one is #146004747). Thanks for all your contributions! I just love find a grave and am now going beyond my family and friends and have started going thru the funeral home site here in Livingston to make sure that folks get added to Find A Grave! Best hobby ever (besides ancestry.com:) - Caroline
