 | Evergreen Cemetery Are the 2 Evergreen Cemeteries the same? I noticed they have different people listed in them on Find-A-grave. Is it possible for Find-A-grave to "merge" them so people won't add their ancestors in the wrong Evergreen?Added by AZ Susi on Jun 13, 2013 4:05 PM | | | djhwatkins

 | Gwinn Cemetery Hi John,
I have ancestors buried in the Gwinn Cemetery. Their burials were well before the town started recording them. Which is why they are not listed in the town records or in this site's look up
I don't if you still go to your cemeteries to take pictures of headstones. If you do, and you're in Forsyth Township, and wouldn't mind looking in the Gwinn Cemetery to take pictures I would be very grateful.
I was there 10 years ago, and took pictures, but they didn't turn out at all (disposable camera). I can tell you where to do look.
As you enter the Cemetery, it will be on the right hand side. A section runs along side of a wall of bushes (?). (one of the old parts of the cemetery) My great grandparents Jules and Justine Nicolle died in 1916 and 1915 and share a large tombstone. You can't miss it. There is one other ancestor, he too will be in the old section though I don't know where exactly. His name was Leopold Morenier, born 1838, died 1917. His last name might be of various odd spellings.
Thank you for your time and any help you can render

 | Sacred Heart Cemetery John,
I was born in Marquette, MI. My mom's family is from there, immigrants from Canada.
You have provided information on the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Champion, MI.
Is there anyway you could get pictures of the headstones. I have many family members buried in this cemetery. I live in North Carolina now and due not have the resources to get up to the UP anytime in the near future.
I would love any photos, especially Edward Derrie. He was my Grandma's Grandfather.
Thanks.

 | Esau Rich, Memorial #8807667 Hi John, My name is William and I'm working on the Rich family line. I saw a note you placed on this memorial stating that Esau was buried in TN and thought that you might be able to point me toward other information that may help me piece my tree together. Regards, WilliamAdded by WDMartin on Nov 26, 2011 9:50 AM | | | Barbara
 | sacred heart Cemetery Is this the Champion MI Catholic cemetery next to Van Riper State Park? I have many photos for this cemetery if it is. A Few years I began a project of taking pictures of the stones in both Champion, MI cemeteries. So I have hundreds of pictures. I will post as soon as I can figure out how and if this is the correct cemetery. I am very new to this site.Added by Barbara on Sep 24, 2011 7:59 AM | | | Cheryl Kirkpatrick

 | Eli Dufresne John, Thank You for adding the picture of Holy Cross Cemetery to Eli Dufresne's memorial on Find a grave. Eli is buried under the coolest tree. I need to figure out how to post it on his memorial. Eli is my Great grandpa Louis' brother. It appears that he is buried alone in Marquette. His wife Julia is buried at Calvary cemetery in Cheboygan, Michigan Thank you for helping to preserve his memory. Sincerely, Ruth Du Fresne | | | Find A Grave Volunteer
