Bio and Links
Bio Photo In February 2006, after 30 years of service, I retired from the U.S. Forest Service, having spent most of my career working on the Daniel Boone National Forest, as a Law Enforcement Officer. Since that time, I have found this site and renewed my interest in genealogy and have been placing my research online.

Most of my information is downloaded from my personal computer. My files and the FAG format does not match exactly, so if you find a mistake or want to suggest a corrections use the "Edit" button on the memorial. This will provide me with a direct link to the memorial and in most cases I only have to OK the request.

I will transfer memorials, that are not my personal family, to anyone who will provide direct kin to the person. Example:(Parents, grandparents, siblings, spouse or children). I will no longer transfer uncles, aunts, cousins or persons who just have the same family name.

To request a transfer, go to the person memorial on FAG, click on the "Edit" button, then click on "Suggest any other correction or addition", ask for the transfer, provide your relationship, then click on "Send".

Mary James Culbertson Gill
Hi Kendel
We must be cousins. I am basing her middle name on the obituary of her husband William Gill in The Farmerville Gazette on July 2, 1884, pg 2. Do you have anything else that would indicate her middle name is Jane?

The census records for 1860, 1870, and 1880 give only the initial 'J.' as her middle name. The marriage record for Noxubee County on Ancestry.com also only give the middle initial 'J.' But I have not seen the actual document. Also I have not seen an obituary for her.

If you have copies of her obituary or marriage license, I would love to get a copy.

James would be an unusual name for a woman. Maybe it's a family name. What are your thoughts?

Thanks so much!!
Phil

Could I ask where you found Sarah's birth date? It isn't on her stone or in the Bethel Cemetery records.

Thank you!
Thank you so much for the photos of Sally B and EB Clemons' site, and the others ou took and posted. I appreciate it very much.

They are my paternal grandparents and great grandparents. I am trying to find the parents of Sally B (Baker) Clemons. Are you familiar with the graves in that area? Supposedly the parents are named William and Martha Baker, but so far I have no proof of that. If you are up there again, I'd appreciate it endlessly if you could check to see if those names are buried close by.

Thank you again!

C Clemons
