Currently retired (3rd time) and have found ancestry an interesting passtime. After researching my Mother's side of the family (got back to early 1800's) and Father's side of the family (got back to mid 1600's) I started the same process of researching my wife's family. I have had limited sucess because they all came from Poland and many records were lost/misplaced/destroyed during WW2.|
This research has transitionally led me to graveyards. which has actually given me a different perspective regarding gravesites. Taking photos and posting the information to "the world" on the internet is not only a passtime for me, it has become a sort of "fudicary" responsibility. Friends, family and loved ones of those buried sometimes find comfort and relief in viewing these photos and it is mine and others responsibility to present true and accurate data for those folks.

You have the above suject listed as being a sibling to my grandfather...this is incorrect. My grandfather's (Herman B. LaPrarie)sister was Marie Iola Collins who is buried in Birmingham, AL. Please correct this on your memorial page. Thank you for your assistance.

Good Morning, we were wondering if you would allow us to use your pictures in our family tree? As always we will cite both Find A Grave and you, the photographer as our source. We know it's the right thing to do and our way of letting others know who truly deserves the Thank You. Thanks so much for considering our request. S

Thanks for transferring those gravesites, Richard.
Phil grew up in St. Francis, but many other Baewers lived in South Milwaukee and he is related to all of them. Judy, Freddie, Bernice and her brother Gene, Bill, Bruce were some of his Baewer cousins. He says his family went there on occasion but generally went to the Evangelical and Reformed on Oklahoma Avenue. Phil's Dad had a greenhouse in St. Francis and sold produce.
