Bio and Links
Bio Photo Hi everyone!
We would like to say Thank You to the people that created Find A Grave for providing a wonderful place to store memorials. This site has provided us with information on some of our relatives so we decided to do our part to help others find theirs.
We would also like to thank all the volunteers that give so many hours of their valuable time to photographing and researching information for Find A Grave.
We heard once that if you haven't grown up by the age of 50, you don't have it! So we have decided not to grow up! We love living in and digging up the past. Do you remember as a kid playing in the attic of grandma & grandpa's house? We do. We still spend time in dusty attics, cemeteries, libraries, and courthouses researching family history. Genealogy researching has become a passion for us, along with our love for traveling.
Kim was raised in Nebraska, joined the Navy and lived in several states. He retired out of the Navy after 23 years and settled down in Iowa to enjoy his retirement. Virginia was raised and lived in Idaho. Then in 2004 we found each other and have devoted our lives to family history. Kim volunteered for the Idaho State Archives creating indexes and organizing collections. Virginia volunteered for the Idaho State Archives, Washington State Archives, FamilySearch, worked for the Idaho State Archives and currently maintains the website for Canyon County Idaho USGenWeb.
If you are trying to locate someone in your past or would like to get pictures of loved one's tombstones, please feel free to contact us. As we travel this great country of ours, we may be in the right place at the right time to help you. You can also follow us on Facebook. Look for Kim Vaught, Virginia Doughty Vaught, Ancestry Indexer, and Canyon County IDGenWeb Project.
We love chatting about genealogy and connecting people with their past.

God Bless You!
Kim & Virginia

Thank you for the picture of Jacob's headstone. What this led me to is learning that Jacob is not my 2x great grandfather but rather my great grandfather's brother. Thanks again for the photo!

FH Clark
You have a stone of FH Clark at Farmer's Valley Cemetery in Stockham, Nebraska. What does the small brown picture say? I'm a descendent of his sites Charlote Clark Pelen who is buried at Farmer's Valley.

RE: re: Augusta & Joseph Hebert (sponsorships)
You are welcome. I am happy to provide sponsorships for my family members whenever I can find and document them. I really appreciate you and all the FindAGrave volunteers who help document all our families' gravesites.

RE: re: Roy & Ruth Richardson
If I have things figured out correctly Ruth Richardson is my third cousin (her great grandmother was my great grandfathers sister). I don't have a lot of information on her family (and even less on Roy's family) since she isn't in my direct line, but I am happy to share as much of what I do have as you would like. Just let me know what you would like to have and I will send you an email.

Lovely bio..
Hi, I am impressed with your lovely bio. Some are not so friendly.
I left an edit for Eva Vaught for her maiden name to be added. It as Spence and then her places of birth and death and then the name of her father. I wonder if you will fulfill that request.
You sound like folks I would love to meet, been doing genealogy for well over 30 years myself.
