T. J. Houston Maybe this is the one I'm looking for... he was born in 1844, Savilla in 1847, but... this shows he died in 1912 and Savilla says she's a widow in 1900. Did they separate or divorce, do you know? Sometimes if they did, they might call themselves single or widowed rather than the D word.
T.J. Houston by chance, is your grandfather Thomas Jefferson Houston? Did he have a son by the same name born around 1844 that married Savilla Yeck? I ask because he's in the same cemetery that Savilla's son is in. The Thomas Jefferson I'm looking for is gone between 1880-1900. I found 1, but he was born too early to be the same. Pretty sure the one I'm looking for might have died in Morgan county, but he could still have been taken to the other cemetery where his family was. ??? Any ideas? Joanne
Frances M. Edrington Bullock Thank you so much for taking the picture of this grave. I had visited the cemetery and was unable to find it, because the cemetery was so overgrown. Sincerely, Sharon Clontz Rowe
RE: Valentine Didn't realize you had deleted the whole memorial until I went to look at it. I'll do some research and see if I can't find the son's burial as well to clarify it all since you were using records which someone early on got wrong.
