RE: #9577735
No problem. Camera phone sometimes does what it thinks is 'best' on photos. Should be corrected.

For your photo request at Greenwood Memorial Gardens, please call the cemetery at 864-223-9229 and ask for the grave location. I've found that it works best if you make the call since they may need more information about the person. I have cemetery maps, so if you send me the location in a message on findagrave, I will go out there and take the photo.

RE: Storey
I am not related to any McWilliams. I looked up John Gordon McWilliams and Frances Alvin McWilliams on Ancestry. If they're related, it would go back to the 18th century in Ireland or Northern Ireland.

RE: James J Lever Jr
Generally when I find two that match, I email Find A Grave with the two versions and they will handle it/combine them. :)

This message you sent me.

Bomar in Spartanburrg County, SC
I am trying to trace my Bomar relatives. I think but am not sure but I might know the burial site of Elizabeth Bomar and her 2nd husband John P Martin. There is a cemetery down the road from where I live. It is called Greenville Presbyterian Church. The county might be Greenwood County (or possibly Abbeville County but it is at the edge of Ware Shoals, Greenwood, SC and Hodges, Greenwood, SC and I think I remember seeing the name of Polly Martin. Would like to hear from you.

RE: Bomar/Fielding

Thank you for messaging me. I have info on the Bomar clan.

There is quite a bit of history out there about the Bomars who were in Spartanburg, South Carolina. To my understanding, there is still a Bomar Plantation there. There are some of African-Americans with the last name Bomar, whose ancestors worked there and went by the name Bomar.

Tell me a little more info about your John Armistead Bomar. Who were his parents? When was he born and died? I'll see how he fits in the tree. I look forward to hearing from you.

Sloans - Forest Hils Cemetery
Hi Margaret,
I am taking the photos of your Sloan family. Most were all in one spot. I added a few memorials. If you want me to transfer them, I would be glad to. The other two that I have not posted yet are in a different section of the cemetery and a bit harder to locate. I will have to wait until my husband get back in town (2 wks). He's great at locating those tough ones.
