| Bio and Links | I really got into family research after my Dad passed away in August of 2011. I wanted to know more about my family history and figured I had better get started while my Mom was still with me.
I enjoy walking through the cemeteries, taking pictures and adding them to this site. Sometimes in my walks through these cemeteries I'll see neglected and damaged markers, so I stop and take the time to clean them up the best I can and take a picture. Who knows, this might be the last picture taken before it is completely gone. A headstone will last a long time, but not forever.
I always take the time to get a picture of our veterans. Our Men and Women that have served and sacrificed for our Country to give us the freedoms that we have. They deserve our utmost respect and gratitude.
I work hard to get my information as accurate as possible, but I do make mistakes. When they are called to my attention or I find them I do the corrections.
I will be more than happy to transfer any of my non-family memorials to anyone who finds that I have entered one of their relatives. I feel that a family member can add so much more to a memorial than a non-family member. If you would like a transfer, please state your relationship with the person you would like transferred.
I don't mind photos being posted to my memorials, but please do not post a duplicate of a photo that is already in place. If there is a photo of the headstone, there does not need to be another, unless the one there is totally unreadable and yours can be read. Also remember that unsponsored memorials are limited to five pictures, so please make them worthwhile.
I applaud everyone for their additions to Find A Grave, especially the volunteer photographers. You guys do an awesome job and all the hard work is greatly appreciated by all of us.

 | RE: John Calvin Boone I don't know why the name on the tombstone and the name in the obit don't match. I did find a Elizabeth B. Boone with same address as John Calvin Boone. Also, her birthday is same as on tombstone. So maybe, they are one in the same.Added by Wimsang on Jun 17, 2013 8:25 PM | | | Donna V Kester

 | Vincent Bonnett Larry I appreciate the obit on this site. It has been added. Thank you. I saw on you are related to Griffith Monroe Hoover. I have noticed in the past we are researching a lot of the same people. My maiden name is Hoover. I have tons of info on the Hoovers if you are interested in corresponding. There is a facebook page dedicated to the original Hoover family in Lexington County. | Ethel Lovern Larry, I went to Riverview Cemetery yesterday. The folks there were so incredibly helpful!
They even went with me to find the graves... of course it was a beautiful day so that was helpful too :-)
Anyway, Ethel's name was not on the grave stone so the young lady who was there to help went back to the office, double checked the records and confirmed that this particular stone was hers.
The young lady who helped me had the same first name... Ethel... which I thought was kind of cool. Anyway, best wishes and I hope this is helpful for you.
Kind Regards, Kim | | | Gary Butler
