People have been submitted by spreadsheets over the years. Attempts have been made to eliminate living people and duplicates. If you believe a living person is included, you should submit proof to me via findagrave correction. Just because there is no date on a headstone does not mean someone is alive.|
Google and other searches do not prove someone is alive, I can google many people in my tree that google would show to be well over 100 years old that I know in fact are dead.
Do not ask me to transfer if you are not related it will not happen!!!
You must love it when another volunteer on this site tries to get you in trouble for things when they violate FAGR rules everyday
Yes, I know there is an edit button no kidding. I will get to it as I can. Fortunately, I do not live on this site.
While I have thousands of memorials at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Rochester. They are all added based on the actual records in the office. In many cases these records only listed people as Mr. Ms, Miss. exc... I choose to leave these records as they are unless someone has added a headstone and the dates match the cemetery index I have in my posession.
Unfortunately I used to change them as unknown but I have learned over time people assume they are there family when in fact they are not and the dates do not match at all per the records of the cemetery.
Because of this reason it takes me some time to vent the record changes at this particular cemetery because I look each and every record up as time allows to ensure the accuracy.
My main lines of interest are

I have additional information for Mary Chamberlain and also her brother Timothy Bush. I don't know how to add to Edit because I don't have numbers of graves of her family members. Can you do this for me? Dian email@example.com

Edit sent. Thank you!
|Dian Price||Mary Chamberlain|
I have information to be added for Mary Chamberlain. Her maiden name is Bush and I see that there are other members of her family buried in this cemetery. Her first husband was Nathaniel Seaver and her second was Abner Chamberlain. She was born 21 Jan 1760 and died 18 March 1849. I need to further research to verify her place of birth.
Her father Timothy Bush and mother Deborah House are in the direct family line to Pres George H.W. Bush.

Thanks for responding so quickly, Daryl!

Sorry for submitting 2 name changes for her but I didn't notice the extra "l" on Hubbell missing. You may wonder why she is buried in Rochester. Apparently, she and her husband, Amos, moved there and, after she died, he returned to Connecticut. She has another memorial (created by someone who didn't follow her accurately). The links for her parents, Isaac and Ruth Aner (Nichols) Lockwood will lead you to her other memorial. I would contact the creator of the other memorial, but she is difiicult to contact.

Thanks for all your hard work Daryl. My question relates to Chloe Berthema Baker who appears on the above page as a spouse, but not on the tombstone with the other two spouses. I have not been able to document the marriage (much as I would like to) and wondered if you could help me.

How are you related?
|Susan Sauers||Christian Frey|
Hi, Darryl! I am Susan Frey Sauers and Christian Frey is my 2nd great grandfather. I have information on his wife and children that I would like to add to FAGR. I would be happy to take the management of Christian off your hands. You seem to have your plate full. Susan

The scan I have is no better than what's here on Find A Grave. Sorry about that.
|Anonymous||RE: Lucius Petteys|
I certainly could email it but I believe you could also copy it directly from his findagrave memorial page by right clicking and saving it. If there is a technical difficulty let me know and I'll send it. What's your email?
