The picture is paper, but I don't know if it is the original or a copy that was made later. I did go back and check and it does say Milton. Thanks for bringing this to my attention. Are you a descendant?

That picture came from his granddaughter and it was labeled with his name. What about the picture type and clothes do you find suspect?

RE: David
There was lots of foliage around the memorial. I don't know who was exactly around him other than the links others have added previously.

RE: Richard Beeson
How far back do your books go? According to the Centre Monthly Meetings Records from 1775-1903 has Record of the death place of Richard Beeson was Guilford, North Carolina. Could there be more than one cemetery where they could be buried in the area?

Richard Beeson
I just read on the Bio of the Cemetery that records before 1825 were lost which might explain the reason why you couldn't find him and his wife charity grubb on your records, they were some of the first settlers there and most likely would not have a tombstone with there name on it since they didn't start marking graves until the early late 1700's to early 1800's.

I was wondering if you could help me. I am looking for a Richard Beeson born 1684-1777 and the records show According to the Centre Monthly Meetings Records from 1775-1903 has Record of the death of Richard Beeson. Is there more than one Centre friends cemetery in Guildford Co, North Carolina that we are not aware of?

Thanks, Jill Gardner
