Austin S. Francisco Grave Picture THANK YOU!
Dear SJGenealogy,
Thank you SO VERY much for the pictures of Austin S. Francisco's grave marker. He was my great uncle and he went to war and never came home. He was only 21 and had no living children. He had fathered one baby girl who only lived a few months. So I named my only son after him so that his legacy would not die with him alone in France. He was from a tiny southern town named Arthur, Tennessee and he wanted to go to war and fight for freedom. The best that we have been able to find out is that he "landed" in France and only survived one day of fighting. It is so odd that my son has grown into a fine young man that I am so proud of and he resembles Uncle Austin so much in looks and actions. My poor Great Grandmother Sue Francisco mourned until her dying day for her "poor Audie." She died in anguish for the loss of her baby boy. My son, Austin and I would love to someday come and visit his grave. but thanks to you, we have at least gotten to see it. This means the world to us. Words cannot express our gratitude.
Thank You, And God Bless You,
April Myers and the family of Austin Sydney Francisco

Herbert Anderson at Forest Home Cemetery
Good morning Sir/Ma'am. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to contact Forest Home Cemetery and obtain the grave location (Section & Lot numbers) for your photo request(s), ask them whether or not there is a grave marker, and then either post this information to the memorial or send it to me.

Forest Home Cemetery: 708-366-1900 or 773-287-0772

Should you choose not to accept this mission, your photo request will most likely continue to go unfulfilled. This message will not self destruct in five seconds. Good luck! Ace

Her memorial: http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=74079938

Forest Home is a massively humongous cemetery with well over 100,000 burials, and the information is vital in order to photograph a grave for you. Forest Home disavows all photo volunteers, refusing to aid them in finding graves, so your mission is indispensable and integral to helping fulfill your photo request.

From the Find A Grave Dossier: All personnel are advised that Find A Grave states it is the responsibility of the photo requestor to provide the grave plot (section and lot number) to assist the volunteer photographers.

Mission Success: Last year I successfully completed 200 photo missions at Forest Home Cemetery that had the grave location provided by the photo requestor. In just over a year I have successfully concluded over 1,400 photo missions with over 600 already successfully completed in 2014.

Mission Failure: Impossible

I'm sending you some edits to add the "plot location" in the first name field so that the unknowns can be easily located and not duplicated...take a took at Memorial# 74944179 for a sample of the way to set them up...thanks for all your help in Findagrave

Thank you for adding it. I have been doing research on WW II Vets but when I come across any Veteran I feel a special place for them. The picture in our paper was not good enough to copy. Glad there is one posted on his Memorial.

Hi! In regards to your photo request, can you please call the cemetery and obtain the grave location (Section & Lot numbers) and ask them whether or not there is a grave marker? Please post this information to the memorial or send it to me.

Forest Home Cemetery: 708-366-1900 or 773-287-0772

Forest Home is a huge cemetery with well over 70,000 burials, and the information is needed in order to find someone there and take a photo of a grave. I go here regularly, and just since August I have found over 200 graves at Forest Home that had the location information provided. Thank you! Ace

No apologies necessary SJ. I never expected you to respond immediately, just at your convenience. I understand how time consuming handling so many memorials can be. Thank you for all you do & I truly appreciate your response to my request. Best regards, Sallie
