Thank you so much for your help in trying to locate the gravestone of Edna King. I appreciate your efforts so very much. I have marked her memorial page as "Unmarked Grave". Thanks again and have a wonderful day!

memorial number #20924112. Yes it is very serious to use chalk, flour, etc on a tombstone because it damages it. It is considered vandalism, actually. A few "old timers" have told people to do this but they didn't understand that a residue would be left behind which feeds corrosive fungi. I didn't want to upset you or embaress you, but if someone sees the picture they might report you. Better to be safe than sorry!

Find A Grave doesn't approve of graves being chalked and will remove them and block the person who posted them. You posted a picture of a chalked grave headstone on my great-uncle's memorial (Kelley/Kelly J. Bryant) in Oklahoma. I would like to ask if you would remove the photo before Find A Grave sees it and freezes your account and takes down my relatives memorial. I have my own photo of the grave that I can put there. I am trying to get the memorial transferred to me, but apparently the person who posted it is already blocked. You are the only one who can help us by removing the photo. Please help us!

You know I didn't think to mention we could ask Find A Grave to merge them and then you would still have the photo out there.... I am sorry I didn't think to mention that.
