My interest in the area of genealogy and memorials came from not having very much|
knowledge of my fathers side of the family.
Not knowing my father due to his death prior
to my birth has resulted in my having very limited information about his roots and has given me a deep desire to learn as much as I possibly can about all sides of my family. I enjoy taking photos of old headstones in order to prevent lost
memories for other families.
I have really enjoyed findagrave and have connected with some amazing people. I want to thank everyone that drops by to visit my loved ones memorials and thank you ever so
much for the love and kindness you have shown.
God Bless You,
I am usually willing to transfer if the person you are requesting is not a member of my own family. I am very flexible with transfers and do not limit them to only to a direct line.

~~A Visit to the Gravesite~~
Your Tombstone stands among the rest,
Neglected and alone.
The name and dates are chiseled here,
On polished marbled stone.
It reaches out to all who care,
Though it is too late to mourn.
You do not know that I exist,
You died and I was born.
Yet each of us are cells of you,
In flesh, in blood, and bone.
The place you filled so many years ago,
I wonder if you could have known,
Would spread among the ones you left
In all the seeds you've sown.
I wonder if you lived and loved?
I wonder if you ever knew?
That someday I would find you this spot,
And come to visit you?

|Richard Horton||Barnabas Horton|
You state Barnabas's wife Mary was your 9th great grandmother. She was my 10th great grandmother.
My tree is on Ancestry as Hortons2012.
Would be more than happy to correspond with you about our connections.
My direct email is firstname.lastname@example.org.
FYI, there is a Horton Cemetery in Fillmore County, Nebraska where my grandparents, Charles and Winnie Horton were the last to be buried.

I guess I forgot to put the photos of the Barnes on the sight. Glad they were a surprise for you. I am trying to figure out if a Barnes is a direct line so I took a photo of all the Barnes in the cemetary. We are related but as cousins.
|Valerie Reynolds||RE: ~ Barnes ~|
I will put the photo there for you.
My grandparents and great-grandparents, along with distant cousins are buried at the cemetary. I went with a friend, Nadine, whose ancestors are buried there, as well. She has Rumseys which connect to your Barnes line. Her Bull cousins married my Lamoreaux cousins.
I may have a Barnes line that connects to my Wilsons, just not sure.
corrections have been made as requested. Thanks.
Would you like me to transfer ownership to You?

hold on now girl LOL
I just finished adding everyone I had in my list, now I have to revisit anyone I have relationships for. I've also been waiting for Trish to transfer the management over to me as I can't edit anyone that she's put in there.
I've also got a military graduate who added a classmate to the cemetery and put his obit in there under his bio. The obit does not say where buried and this guy wouldn't explain how he knew when I sent him an email. The man was military so he should have a government stone at the very least and I'm pretty darn sure this guy isn't in there.
I'm working on this today so check everything later or tomorrow and let me know if I'm missing anybody.
