Findagrave Community Day at Homewood
Hi, Alice,

I would like to invite you to join us at the Homewood Cemetery on Saturday, Oct. 17th, to help photograph the graves. We will be in the family room (look for signs for Find a Grave) from 9 to 4:30. If you can come, please sign up at

I am inviting you to the Homewood meetup because you have taken one or more photos of graves at the Homewood Cemetery. If you are no longer in Pittsburgh, you can learn about meetups in other areas at

It would be great to meet you.

RE: deborah marsh
I noticed you have several contributions from the Butler Co OH cemeteries. Are you from this area too or were you just visiting?

Francis T. Schamel - Corrections
1) His first name was Franklin, not Francis, according to 1880 U.S. Census, and he was known to all as Frank.

2) His spouse's maiden name was Pahud, not Welch - Elizabeth F. Pahud. This was verified by their grandson, who is living and is my father-in-law, and by family records as well as many Ancestry records. They did have a daughter, Elizabeth, known as Betty, who married a man named Howard Welch.

Hi Alice -- Thanks so much for adding the obituary to George Hildebrand's memorial. George was my mother-in-law's great uncle.
