Sorry to report Ms Gorbet has no existing marker, so I'll just post a photo of her burial location.

You're very welcome. I had another Gorbet stone in my files for Ryan. It's very old and needs to be cleaned a bit, but it appears to say E C Gorbet. I'm not sure if that would be the correct stone for any of the Gorbet/Gorbett's listed in Ryan.

If you do confirm that she is at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Panola County near DeBerry, please make note of any closeby markers, so that I can pass it on to the record keeper. He will need to add her to the records. If she got in without anyone knowing, it was a strange occurrence. All the local funeral homes know to contact someone on the Board of Directors for Mt. Zion before burial.
If she was a black person, she would be in the black section, and Joe Lynn does not keep those records.
Just trying to help straighten this out.
Thanks for your help.

The record keeper says that he has no record that she is buried at Mt. Zion. Would you consider deleting that memorial?
|Raymona||Thanks for Photos|
Steve Gorbet: This is somewhat late, but still wanted to thank you for taking and posting the gravestone photos of James and Emily Smith. Your work is very much appreciated.
