RE: Thomas & Reeves Evans
So far, have not found a burial for either, Thomas or Reeves Evans. Have put all info into my great great grandfather's bio - Abel Evans - thanks for everything.

I'm a beginner
Nope, I didn't know all that.
I'll post anything you send. Anything to give a better impression of their lives.
I've gone through the microfilm in the Morehouse Enterprise (Bastrop) of the war years (1942-1945) and have just begin the films starting 1921.

Old obits for Bastrop City Cemtery
thanks so much for those obits
Where in the world did you find them? I didn't think anything was online - I had a subscription for newspapers.com long ago and could find nothing from the deep south

John H. Baker
Thank you for the info you sent from the Morehouse Clarion, dated 1880, for John H. Baker.
Is this newspaper available on-line? Or available on micro-film? Little Marie

My brother and his 5 children are in Lubbock. I am in Colorado, we left Lubbock in 1969 moved. I have photos of Laura Jan Beard and her husband Sgt. Pleasant Rufus Beard
Hello, 'Cousin'! Thanks for your nice message! I have been working on this for a little while :) I would welcome any information you have with open arms! My connection to the Beard family is via my maternal 2nd great grandfather, Sgt. William Hopkins Bailey, whose 2nd wife was Laura Jane Beard b 10 Feb 1865, daughter of Pleasant Rufus and wife Mary E. Deloney. Let me know if you want to just contribute information to his Memorial or if you would like I can transfer him to you.
