Bio and Links
Bio Photo I was born in Los Angeles, California. I moved to Orange County when I was 12. I was California's first certified pharmacy technician. It took me 30 years to get my AA. I retired 5 years ago. That was when I started my family history research. I had only met my father a couple of times before he died and knew nothing about his side of my family. and Find-a-Grave have helped me find family members. I am looking forward to meeting some of them.

I am working on my Native American Indian heritage. I have/had family members who are/were Tuckabatchee, Cherokee, and Creek.

Specifically I am looking for my maternal great grandmother, Norma Lucas, and my paternal great grandmother, Isabella Anderson from Ireland.

Update: I found Granny Izzie, her siblings and her mother since Ireland has opened more of their records. I am still looking for information about Norma Lucas and her father, Allen.

RE: Mary Elizabeth Wright
Thank you so much for the kind words!!! I have a soft spot for unmarked graves and also like taking the group photos that hopefully add more information for family searching. Thank you for mentioning it. :)

RE: use of photos
How funny! I've actually always wanted one of those toilet-paper-holder dolls. The crocheted TP holder I do have is cute; it is a hat. And I also have a cute crocheted sofa that is a tissue-box holder, but I always wanted the doll . . .

Please add the story you told me to Ida's bio, along with anything else you can add. I like to see personal stories on the memorials. It makes them more meaningful.

Take care,

Ida Wright
I bet I know the reason for the difference in her birth year. She may have lived a lie regarding her age because it looks like she got married very young, if the information you have on Frank's memorial regarding the year they got married is correct. But I guess you'll be finding out, right?

Take care, and if you need anything else, just let me know.

Permission granted. That's why I do this! I will transfer Ida to you. Then you can make whatever changes are needed. You are entitled to a transfer of great-grandparents.

Also, there is a Maria Wright in the same row as your great-grandparents, approximately 20 graves away. There could be a connection, or maybe it is just a coincidence. I created a memorial for Maria just in case.

Best regards,

It's not messed up, it just doesn't photograph well. I tried with/without flash & playing with contrast & intensity...maybe wetting it would have helped. Feel free to manipulate it. I'll see if I can mail what I have directly to you. Mary

Thank you so very much for the very nice pictures of their crypts. I know it's especially hard to get photos in the mausoleums.
And... Happy Thanksgiving!
