|sandra crossan||Degory Priest|
Degory Priest is my 13th Great Grandfather.
|Phil Swan||Isabel Heath Pettyjohn|
Isabel was my 8th great aunt, sister to my 7th great grandmother, Susannah Heath Swann. I am very interested in exchanging information on the Heaths and related families. I am a YDNA-proven descendant of Edward and Susannah Heath Swann of Eagleton Plantation, Charles County, Maryland. Isabel Heath, daughter of William and Hanna Heath, was christened 22 May 1636 in St Thomas Southwark, Surrey, England. I have the christenings of her 7 siblings and of her father, William Heath 15 Dec 1605, St. Andrews Holborn, Surrey, England...and more.
I’ll try to make the story of my research life short, but it is important to me that you know who you would be exchanging information with. I started off with a focus on my Swan name (my grt-grandfather dropped the second ‘n’), my Swan blood line, and, now, Susannah’s heritage. I am a member of The Swann Project at FTDNA in Houston and collaborate with Swann/Swan researchers in the US and Canada, the UK, NZ, Iceland, Belgium, and elsewhere. We are serious researchers and do not post our findings on ancestry.com, legacy.com, or any other such forum. My main colleague in the UK, Brian Swann, is a member/lecturer of The International Society of Genetic Genealogy and a shaker with ‘Who Do You Think You Are?’ in the UK. I have a 650 page descendant report on Edward and Susannah Heath Swann and I have published 4 books....soon to be 5. My 3rd book, ‘My Swann Family With Wilson, Shipley And Alcock Families’ is in many eastern libraries and genealogical society libraries. In short, I/we do not rely on ancestry.com for information; we get it the old fashioned way.....we go look for it.
I will attach christening records (partial) for William (your 9th grt-grandfather) which shows his father as Henry and for Susannah (your 9th great aunt) 25 Feb 1629/30 in St. Thomas Parish, Surrey County, England which shows her father as William.

Not sure...yet. She wasn't on the cemetery list and I just found her on a pass by. She might be a spouse of Andrew Miller, I couldn't find a stone for him or dates. Would that match your records?

To fully reset Gabriel's stone it will cost $150. Let me know if you are interested and we can get started on the work.

Gabriel's headstone is in need of restoration. I am a gravestone conservator fully trained and certified in working with historic gravestones. Let me know if you would like a free estimate to restore this stone.
Yes Warren, I am related to Elizabeth Pettyjohn.

Yeah, that's all I know, too. Let me know if you ever find anything else. I will let you know ditto. ~ Jan

I have never been able to ascertain where Nathan Roger Carman and Agnes May Carman are buried. Do you know? If so, please add them to Find-A-Grave with links as it would be really nice to find them. ~ Jan

Yes, she was also my great-great-grandmother. Her daughter Eva was my great-grandmother and Eva's daughter LaVida was my grandmother.
