Are you related to the Seidels from around Bastrop? My great grandmother, Mary Seidel Freabe Zotz is buried at St
Jerome's. I did a lot if work on that cemetery bc most of my family is buried there.

Schliesser Memorial
Eugene - Thank you for arranging for "Mrs. John Schliesser" (Mary Elizabeth Shumaker Schliesser)'s memorial to be transferred to me! As it turns out, she is my 2nd great grandmother (I mistakenly said "3rd great grandmother" when I made the request). You made my day!

Ever grateful for your kindness and hard work,

He is my husband's 2nd great grand uncle. May I use his gravestone photo in our Family Tree? I will gladly give you credit! Thank you, Terry

RE: Bynums
Yes, it IS a small world, or could it be a case of predestination? Sorry about not submitting all my edits at once. I keep tripping over details in my research I hadn't seen before. Thanks again!

RE: Bynum name
Strong possibility you were my husband's distant cousin. His line settled in Hamilton County, Texas, and Scurry County, Texas, after the Civil War. The 1900 Hamilton census shows numerous Bynum families from Blount. My mother's and father's family settled in Brown County, Texas. There again, the BYNUM's were amongst us! ha! ha!
