Bio and Links
Bio Photo My parent's recent ancestors mainly settled in Indiana as they pioneered and converged from many different locations on the east coast. I am a Hoosier at heart. My mother was born and raised in New York City but moved to Indiana where her mother's family had been rooted for some time. Her father's family came directly from Denmark. My father was born and raised in Indiana. His lineage are solid Hoosiers for several generations on his mother's side and his father's line comes from Kentucky and Tennessee. My prior ancestors came from places in Europe, like England, Germany, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Scotland, France and Prussia. Most arrived through Canada and the states of Rhode Island, New York, Virginia and North Carolina and moved south and west into Ohio, Indiana, Tennessee and Kentucky. I was born in North Carolina and grew up in Virginia. I most likely would have been born and living in Indiana all of my life had it not been that my dad was in the military. But then again, would my mom have married him if he were anything other than a dashing young cadet? I enjoy finding my roots and especially like knowing where my ancestors are buried and meeting my distant cousins along the way.

RE: Scrimager Cemetery
I have added Scrimager to the cemetery correction page. It will probably take awhile for the map to get added the Scrimager Cemetery page.

Scrimiger Cemetery
GPS location 36.99697 -84.76641

Imperial Road
Naomi
Pulaski County
Kentucky

From Nancy
Hy 235 3/4 mile turn right on Hy 761
go about 2 miles turn left on Daws Ridge Rd.
go about 2 1/4 mile and turn left
on Imperial Rd. -- at about 2 miles there is another Imperial Rd that is a dead end --.

go about 1/2 mile on Imperial road. The cemetery will be on the left about 400 ft up the hill in a hay field. There is a gate to access the field. The cemetery is hard to see from Imperial road.

RE: Sutherland Cemetery
From I-65 South (between Columbus and Seymour), take exit 64, turn right onto SR 58. Staying on 58, go through Ogilville, and Waymansville. Abt. 3 mi. on, you will reach the Bartholomew-Jackson Co. line. The farm on each side of the rd is County Line Farms. Next to the Co. line sign, there is a lane to your right. That lane goes up a small rise to the cemetery. If you are coming from Seymour, take SR 258W. Go through Cortland, Acme, Easyville, and almost to Freetown, but you will come to the intersection of SR. 58. Turn right, stay on this rd to a 4-way stop at Spraytown. Turn left at the stop. Follow 58 to the Barth.-Jackson Co. line, then the cemetery road will be on your left. Have I helped or confused you? Good luck.
