I have been documenting my family history since 1991 when my Great-Aunt Tillie Perner started me with a 4-page listing. That has now been expanded to several thousand names.|
My interests include relatives in the Texas Hill Country with the German Texan surnames Ackermann, Albrecht, Beck, Behrens, Betz, Bickel, Brieger, Bueche, Eckart/Eckard, Fey, Friesenhahn, Gombert, Hilbert, Kaderli, Kneupper/Kneuper, Kortlang, Mueller, Reininger, Scheel, Schubert, Schumann, Schwab, Stahman, Stichler, Uecker, and Wenzel. My mother's side is Bueche and my father's side is, of course, Brieger.
I live in Colleyville, Texas and can handle photo requests for the Colleyville and Grapevine area. Including the section name for the large cemeteries helps immensely.
It would be really great if Find A Grave provided icons that you could attach a birth certificate, marriage license, or death certificate to. However, since they don't, I ask that certificates not be added to a memorial. However, feel free to email me copies of these for my records. I'll add any pertinent information from the certificates to the memorial.
I always appreciate links to parents and spouses that I am missing. Use the Edit/Suggest a Correction tab.

He is my 2nd great-grandfather. He served in the Civil War with his brother Caspar Moos (also spelled Kasper Moos) Find A Grave memorial #69857554. I have some family papers stating that Hubert Robert Moos is buried in San Diego Cemetery along side Eva B. Kunz Moos. Many of their relatives are there. I have not been able to find his grave. I have a copy of his application for Civil War Pension. I understand that Hubert and Caspar were among the first five families to settle in the Anhalt(Honey Creek)area. My Grandmother was Elma Anettie Moos Maroney. I have been doing ancestry work for 2+yrs. now. I hope you might be able to help me find him. My grandmother, Elma, had five sons of her own that served our country (WWII). I Love my family. Hubert's father, Michael died of cholera bring his young family to America.
