Lovill/Lovell Hi! Is there anywhere else you know of that William Radford Lovill and wife Eliza Reeves Lovill might be buried? The Deepwood Cem. guy says they're not on his list. There are so many other cemeteries in the area, I am considering paying a small fee to the local genealogy society ($20) to look for them. Vernon Co. doesn't seem to have ANY cemetery lists on-line. Julie Can you email me at email@example.com Thanks so much! P.S. I did actually find a Lovell Cemetery in the area, as well as a dozen others.
RE: Aldrich I ran out of time in looking through this cemetery. Ella may be buried in another location. I am in contact with the cemetery manager and will send him a list of requests. He will be able to confirm if she is buried there. Hopefully will have news soon.
I know this is confusing & it took me a little bit to figure this out with research. But there is two different John Baity from North Carolina born about the same time.
One of the John Baity was married to Sarah Hoots, AKA: "Sally" on November 30, 1830.
The other John Baity was married to Catherine Danner on September 17, 1830.
They are NOT the same guy.
As far as I know, John & Catherine Danner Baity had the following children: Elizabeth J Baity - Born: ABT 1832 in NC David W Baity - Born: ABT 1834 in NC Frederic C Baity - Born: ABT 1838 in NC John P H Baity - Born: ABT 1840 in NC Sally C Baity - Born: ABT 1843 in NC Samuel J Baity - Born: ABT 1846 in NC George E F Baity - Born: ABT 1850 in NC
I am still researching this family. I will let you know more of what I find, as I find it.
I hope I'm not offending you by the correction. But this can be very confusing to someone doing their genealogy. I know I was until I found the information in "North Carolina, Marriage Records, 1741-2011"
Next I am going to find birth records to get the children's dates right. The ones listed are from the "1850 United States Federal Census".
Philander Hersey Fitzgerald I looked at his memorial and saw a contributor, DET, had linked many relatives to him, so I asked DET about transferring it. Mr. Fitzgerald is in his family, also, so since he had done so much work on the family, I transferred Mr. Fitzgerald to him. You folks could be related....
Thanks for all you do for the Find-A-Grave website.
RE: Fitzgerald Family I looked at Philander Fitzgerald's family but do not see Rose Anna Fitzgerald Cale among his relatives. Do you have a memorial number for a reference so I can look at her memorial? Thanks.
